However, using this alone as a base is absolutely impossible. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked like a lovely pale strawberry milk color, which was really nice. But on my lips, it was way too white and just sat on top of my lips. Instead of applying smoothly and feeling moisturizing, it floated like oil. What Merrimonde calls their special formula was actually disappointing to me. It emphasized wrinkles terribly and left brush marks. Even though I usually suit pale tones, this didn't work for me at all. I can't use it on its own, so I'll use it to neutralize other lip tints. Think of it as a pink with a lot of white that sits on your lips. After applying it, you might look a bit sickly!

One great thing about this tint? It can slightly neutralize the intensity when you apply a dark lip tint. My lips are naturally quite pigmented, so I always use a cushion to tone down the color before applying anything. When I use this as a base and then layer on color, the result is closer to the tint's true shade. That's what made it work well for me.

Shade #1 Candy Milk is a soft pale pink, like milk with a hint of pink stirred in. I ordered this shade with its strong white undertone to neutralize my naturally red lips. When applied to my reddish lips, it looks absolutely stunning! It creates a pure and gentle lip look, perfect for use as a base or on its own. I'm truly in love with it.

Sensitivity:
I didn't experience any blemishes, tingling, or redness while using this product, so I felt confident using it without worry.

I've been using this for over a month, and I still can't figure out if it's meant for lips or cheeks. The color is so light it's practically white, so I thought it might work as a base. But it pills terribly and makes dead skin cells more noticeable. Using it alone just leaves you looking ghostly pale. I tried using it as a blush base, but the color doesn't show up, and it feels uncomfortably sticky on the skin. I won't be repurchasing this product.

The quantity is generous... That's the only good thing about it, haha!

Apply thinly for a natural look. It would work well mixed with darker lip colors. When used as a base, it gives a delicate appearance and allows other colors to show up beautifully.

For a moisturizing lip product, it emphasizes dead skin cells excessively. It settles into the cracks between dry patches, leaving patchy white marks. It's whiter than the official website photos, so shades 20 and above might look too stark on the lips.

Delicate and pretty. The light undertone base color is lovely. It has a moisturizing and clear milky glow. There's also a pure, innocent feel to it, though it leans a bit too white.
