I generally prefer matte lip products, but Kate Pink Banana is on the moisturizing side. It absorbs beautifully and the color payoff is fantastic. I was diagnosed with a light undertone at Fercle, and when I apply this to my lips, it doesn't look out of place at all - it gives such a natural, pretty color. I've been using it as my daily lip color lately! There's nothing particularly negative to mention. I was always torn between lip balms with weak color payoff and lipsticks that weren't as moisturizing as balms. But this product is exactly what I've been looking for! Just one application gives me that perfect 'juicy lip' look with a beautiful tint and hydration. It's really amazing! If you want more color intensity, you can layer it, but I find it looks prettiest with just one swipe. There's nothing to complain about! This product fits exactly what I've been searching for, and I'm absolutely in love with it.

It's moisturizing yet long-lasting - who knew that was possible? I've gone through 4 bottles in a year. It's perfect for both bare-faced days and over makeup. No dead skin cell emphasis either. It's so popular in Japan, I doubt it'll be discontinued... I'd be devastated if it was! There's really nothing bad about it... except maybe it's a tad pricey? It absorbs well, which means you use it up quickly and need to repurchase often. The price is just a bit... well, you know. It pairs beautifully with the Fenty Beauty 3D Volumizing Gloss in Vanilla 30%! Try them together (see photo for reference). It adds that extra glow you might be missing and the color harmony is on point!

My lips tend to be dry, but this applies smoothly without emphasizing dead skin cells and keeps them moisturized. Even as it fades, the color stays quite vibrant. The slanted tip makes it easy to apply, following the natural shape of your lips. The formula is soft and melts easily, so be careful not to leave it in warm places as it might melt. It's best used at room temperature. This is great for interviews or daily makeup. It gives you that 'no-makeup makeup' radiant look. It gives a gorgeous glow that doesn't fade even after eating... I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a glossy lip product that stays put! The only downside? It's a bit pricey. And since it's in lip balm form, I have a feeling it might run out quickly.

I have dry lips that tend to show dead skin cells when I wear matte lipsticks. So I've been searching for a moisturizing lip product that doesn't wear off easily. After seeing a big promotion at Olive Young, I discovered Lip Monster! Unable to test the colors, I ordered Pink Banana, which seemed to be the bestseller. It's hydrating and feels light on the lips, making it great for everyday use. While it may transfer to your cup immediately after application, if you wait about 10 minutes before drinking, it barely leaves any marks. It feels like it creates a slight oil film on the lips, so it might not be ideal for those who dislike that sensation. However, I'd recommend it to anyone who hates dryness and flaky lips but finds 'tanghulu lips' too intense! You'll need to touch up after meals, but not having to worry after drinking beverages is a big plus. While its staying power isn't as good as matte lipsticks (as advertised), it's quite impressive for a moisturizing lip product. I also love the minimalist case design. It's a shame there's nowhere to test the colors, as I'd like to find my perfect shade. I'm enjoying how comfortable and easy it is to wear, so I'm torn between getting Clump of Desire or 3am next. I bought Pink Banana because it was supposed to be a cool-toned color, but it looks a bit warm on me. Disappointing. The color is sheer, so it doesn't create a clearly defined lip line. While I like the minimalist case, it can be hard to find in a black bag, and it might be difficult to distinguish between multiple colors if you buy several. However, they do provide stickers to help identify the colors when purchasing. Since Pink Banana is slightly warm, I layer another lip color on top. The absorbs well! It glides on smoothly, and unlike some products that clump up during application, this one doesn't do that at all! The color is neither too pink nor too orange, so it seems like it would suit everyone (though the pink tone does intensify with additional layers). It's a perfectly moisturizing lipstick without being excessive! The hydration also tends to last for a long time. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it! I'd like to try purchasing other colors too.
