Color: It's a brown-red shade, but the brown is much more dominant. Packaging: The paint tube-like design gives it a cute, artistic vibe. Effect: Among all the "tanghulu lip" products I've tried, this one stands out as the best. It really brings out a beautiful shine. Packaging: While the packaging is adorable, you can't see inside to check how much product is left. What's more, the stopper attached to the cap broke off while still plugging the opening. I ended up having to cut open the tube and transfer the product to another container. - rl********Dry SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I absolutely adore how this deep undertone adheres perfectly to my skin. It's a must-have, seriously! Why haven't you bought it yet? You absolutely need to get this one and the other product that's a bit closer to a brown nude. They're both incredibly beautiful. There are no downsides. If the color is gorgeous, that's all that matters! Why do you keep asking me to write something when there's nothing negative to say? - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 16, 2024
The color is like a drop of beige in brown. It's not too dark or light, and when applied, it gives a sheer tint that looks like you're wearing a delicate lip balm even on its own. The texture is lighter than jelly, more like a light honey, and quite moisturizing. It has a slight weight to it, but it's not sticky, so it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. The hydrating formula makes it great for reapplying when your lips feel dry. The slanted plastic applicator is easy to clean with a tissue after use, keeping it hygienic. The scent is sweet and tangy, giving off a refreshing aroma both during and after application. Due to its moisturizing formula without any staining properties, it transfers easily and has virtually no staying power. It wears off quickly, requiring frequent reapplication. The texture, while light and honey-like, does have a slight weight to it due to its moisturizing properties. This can make it feel a tiny bit heavy, though fortunately, it's not particularly sticky. Lastly, the color payoff isn't very strong. When spread out, it gives a sheer, delicate tint that looks like you've just applied a regular lip balm when worn alone. - pz***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2024
Packed with moisture, this bouncy jelly lip balm does it all - from hydrating to caring for your lips! It's the Tangle Jelly Balm from lilybyred. Available in 8 shades, I have shades 02, 06, 07, and 08. 02 - A Bite of Peach Jelly : A clear, vibrant peach with a fluorescent touch : Perfect for Spring Warm Bright tones! 06 - A Bite of Kaya Jelly : A medium milky brown shade : Ideal for Spring Warm Light tones with #23 complexion! 07 - A Bite of Plum Jelly : A bright and deep plum color : Recommended for Winter Cool Bright tones! 08 - A Bite of Grape Jelly : A deep black grape hue : Great for Winter Cool Deep & Summer Cool Mute tones! Surprisingly, it comes in a tube shape like a gloss, making application a breeze - just squeeze and apply! While it's convenient to smudge right after squeezing, it does require a bit of pressure to dispense the product. I've tried many melting balms and lip glosses, but lilybyred's Tangle Jelly Balm creates the plumpest, bounciest lip look I've ever experienced! Due to its impressive plumping effect, the texture is somewhat sticky. While the feel might not be for everyone, it definitely delivers on creating that coveted plump lip look. I find myself reaching for it often when I need a mood boost! Keep in mind that due to the formula, the color appears much lighter on the lips than when swatched on the hand. I've included lip swatches of each shade for reference, so please check those out! The formula can be a bit sticky, so keep that in mind! - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 8, 2024
A beauty YouTuber, particularly known for lip product reviews and with a similar skin tone to mine (21 warm deep), recommended this product as part of the recent 'tanghulu glow' trend. The texture is like thick honey, not too sticky, but it can feel heavy if you apply too much. It dries quickly when applied sparingly. Interestingly, even after it dries, you still feel a slight tackiness, though the shine and moisture remain. This sensation might be uncomfortable for those with sensitive skin, but the upside is that it keeps your lips from getting dry. Personally, I'm not a fan of this in-between feeling - it's a bit awkward. The glow is beautifully plump, but as someone with naturally pigmented lips, I find the color payoff insufficient. In my experience, applying too much makes the texture unpleasant. This product works best as a top coat over a base lip color, enhancing the overall look. To achieve the desired color, you need to apply a generous amount. The pigmentation is surprisingly sheer. Unfortunately, it transfers onto masks and smudges easily. If only the color payoff was better... To get the same vibrant shade as shown on the official website, you need to apply this over a base lip color.
