Note: My skin type is combination dehydrated skin, leaning heavily towards oily. Not sensitive. Cleansing effectiveness: Even with a quick application and rinsing after 1-2 minutes, it really helps balance the surface oil. However, if you apply a thicker layer and wait just over 10 minutes, it works wonders on stubborn blackheads, making them soft and easy to remove. It leaves your skin feeling deeply cleansed, so I highly recommend it. Texture: Washing off the dried product can be a bit uncomfortable. I've been told I have exceptionally thick skin even for an oily skin type, so those with super sensitive skin might need to be cautious. There's also a slight feeling of deep dryness afterwards. Pro tip for those with very oily skin: Apply a thick layer and wait for over 10 minutes. - na******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 3, 2025
This is absolutely fantastic! As someone with oily skin, I love how effective the cleansing power is. It's versatile too - you can use it as a mask! But what really impresses me is how it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing. Instead, it maintains that lovely hydrated feeling. Being a powder type, it also helps remove dead skin cells to some extent, which prevents blemishes from popping up. I'm already on my fourth bottle - that's how much I adore it! The price... oh, the price is just wicked! I wish they'd be more generous with their sales discounts. It's a bit tough on the wallet! It's clear this product has become a staple in the user's skincare routine. They appreciate its multi-functionality and how it addresses various skin concerns without causing irritation. The only drawback seems to be the price point, which they find a bit steep. Despite this, the repeated purchases indicate that the benefits outweigh the cost for this user. - ya********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
After using a cleansing foam, I either wash my face again with this product or use it as a mask. Once I'm done, all the dead skin cells on my face are gone, and my skin feels incredibly smooth. When I look in the mirror after rinsing, my complexion has a beautiful glow. The scent reminds me a bit of yeast, like when you're baking bread. The price is quite steep, so I can't use it as often as I'd like. I tend to save it for special occasions. It would make a lovely gift though! It works wonders when you mix it with serum or toner to create a mask. Absolutely fantastic! - so******Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2025
The packaging is beautiful. The design is right on trend! It's convenient that you can buy it at Olive Young. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm devastated that my previously clear complexion completely flared up after just one use. I developed tiny bumps all over, and my skin immediately turned red upon application. I never expected it would become so dry and irritated the next day. It looks like I'll have to live with this skin reaction for a while. - pu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2025
I have sensitive skin, but I felt I needed some pore care, so after debating between this and other products, I decided to give this a try. After just one day of use, I could immediately feel my skin becoming smoother. Despite my sensitive skin, I was worried, but I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation at all. I've tried other peeling gels before, like Fre* peeling gel and Dr.* peeling gel, as well as products that dissolve sebum, but personally, this one is the most satisfying! Right after the first use, I thought to myself, 'I'll definitely need to buy this again.' I think the price is quite high... I bought it on sale for 19,000 won in a set with a brush at Olive Young, but if I had paid full price, I would have been really disappointed... - os*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2024
Skin Signal White Clay is a versatile enzyme cleanser that can be used for everything from cleansing to masking, depending on the water concentration. This face wash improves skin texture and soothes while reducing dead skin cells. It dissolves blackheads, instantly transforming your complexion to a clearer state, leaving your skin smooth and soft. I was struggling with managing dry, flaky skin and excess sebum in winter, but I'm satisfied with how easily I can take care of my skin using Skin Signal. The white clay enzyme offers two functions in one: it creates rich foam for cleansing, and with less water, it transforms into a creamy clay mask. I saw quick results as I could treat my skin while washing, and despite my recent blemishes, it was gentle with no irritation. Moreover, this Olive Young recommended item is a natural derma cosmetic, filled with 99.99% naturally-derived active ingredients without a drop of water, avoiding chemical preservatives. With an impressive 100,000ppm of white clay, it not only nourishes but also helps remove impurities deep within the pores, making it excellent for improving skin texture. The enzyme cleanser comes in a highly concentrated powder form. By excluding purified water unnecessary for skin improvement, it increases the content of active ingredients. You can feel its softness just by touching the particles. I recommend using it about twice a week, as daily cleansing might cause irritation. 01 Thoroughly wet your hands and face, then dispense about a coin-sized amount of the enzyme cleanser. 02 Turn all the enzyme granules into foam before massaging it onto your face. 03 Pay extra attention to areas with stubborn dead skin cells, like the T-zone. 04 Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. - If you want to use it as a mask, wet a brush, spread a dense foam evenly on your face, leave it for 60 seconds to dissolve dead skin cells and sebum. - lk********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 2, 2024
I love that it's mildly acidic and 100% vegan - that's a big plus! While it works as a cleanser, many people use it as a mask too. I've only tried it as a cleanser, and I'm impressed - no irritation and it leaves my skin feeling fresh! It's like my skin texture becomes silky smooth. While I didn't see a dramatic reduction in my pores, I think I need to use it more to really tell. It's also super convenient to carry when traveling! The price is a bit wicked, haha. I wish they'd come out with a larger size option, as the current one feels a bit small. Mix the powder well with lukewarm water, then gently massage it onto your face. You can develop your own cleansing method that works for you. It's not harsh, so it should be fine for most skin types. - sk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2024
It gives a thorough cleansing sensation. My skin feels softer after use. Be aware that it might leave your skin feeling slightly dry after washing. - ki********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedJun 1, 2024
I love that you can mix it with a bit of water for exfoliation. It lathers well too. I was worried because I heard enzyme cleansers can cause blemishes if used incorrectly, but surprisingly, my small bumps disappeared after using this! I can't really think of any downsides. While it might feel a bit pricey, I'm extremely satisfied with everything else. - ad*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJan 24, 2024
Above all, I didn't experience any irritation despite my super sensitive skin. It contains very gentle exfoliating ingredients, so it's effective at removing dead skin cells. I loved that I could use it in the morning without any irritation. Compared to the white and pink versions, I was most satisfied with the texture of this one. I'll definitely repurchase it as my morning cleanser. The downside is probably the price. The volume is a bit small, but it's quite expensive, so it's best to buy it when it's on sale. If it came in a larger size, there wouldn't be any drawbacks. My skin type is combination dehydrated with thin, sensitive skin. Based on my experience, I use it 2-3 times a week, regardless of morning or evening. If I have a lot of dead skin cells, I'll use it up to 4 times a week. For example, Monday evening / Wednesday morning / Friday evening / Saturday morning, like that! If you have any questions, please leave a comment.
