This product has better ingredients compared to other color cosmetics. It applies smoothly and as the name suggests, it feels more like a lip gloss than a lipstick. The pink shade is likely to suit those with cool undertones better. It's super hydrating and so easy to apply! You can even use it as a glowy blush! While the staying power isn't the best, it's still great because of how convenient it is to put on. I've never used up an entire lip product before, but this one ran out so quickly! I'm not sure if it's because the amount is small or what. When applied, it smooths out lip wrinkles and makes them plump. The color is perfect for cool-toned skin! The color and how it absorbs are fantastic, and it's so convenient to carry around that it's become my absolute go-to daily item! I almost had a disaster when I put it in my pocket - it nearly melted completely... Sometimes it suddenly clumps up when applying!

Why I bought it: I wanted to try a nude lip, so I bought a balm in a nude shade... but it turns out nude lips don't suit me at all, so I went for this instead! What I loved: 1. It glides on smoothly, leaving your lips instantly moisturized. You could easily use this on its own without any other lip products! 2. The pencil shape makes it super easy to apply. 3. The delicious grape scent is such a mood-booster! 4. I got it for a great price, making it an incredible value for the quality. 5. The color payoff is fantastic! What could be improved: 1. Due to its nature, it's quite soft, which means it can apply a bit heavily if you're not careful. You'll need to control the pressure when applying! 2. As a first-time user of pencil-type lip products, I found it a bit tricky that once you twist it up, you can't twist it back down. You'll need to be mindful of how much you use. Also, since I'm used to storing my makeup vertically, it was a bit inconvenient that this can't stand up on its own. 3. The packaging is a tad... how should I put it... old-fashioned? It looks like something you'd find at a discount store. That said, the overall design is still pretty. In conclusion: While the product itself is great, the packaging left something to be desired. Creates a dewy and natural glow. It's perfect when applied over light makeup or accent colors, as it softens the shades while adding a beautiful luminosity! The color payoff is weak. It melts too easily if kept in your pocket, so you need to store it in your bag.

The affordability and variety of colors are definite pros. I'd recommend the Black Cherry shade for winter cool-toned clear complexions. For deeper skin tones, I suggest going for an even darker shade. The staying power is quite short, and it tends to stick to hair strands a lot, which is frustrating. Once you press the applicator, it doesn't retract back in. The formula is extremely soft, making it difficult to store during summer months. Apply this over a water tint or any lip product with color for the best effect.

Nature Republic's Honey Melting Lip truly lives up to its 'honey glow' description. They've now expanded to 12 shades, including plumping options. I personally bought shades 8 and 9 with my own money and have been enjoying them ever since. Both shade 8 (Black Cherry Shoe) and shade 9 (Tangle Grape) are perfect for cool-toned skin. While there isn't a huge difference between the two, if I had to compare, I'd say shade 8 is slightly lighter, while shade 9 has more of a purple tint. It's a one-touch melting balm that dissolves instantly upon contact with your lips. As I mentioned, it gives a beautiful honey-like glow, but this means you'll have to accept a bit of stickiness. However, the gorgeous finish makes it worth it - this lip product is a real winner when it comes to expression! Well... the sticky feeling during application is admittedly a downside.

As a thick, honey-glow melting balm, it has a slight heaviness to it. While it's great for hydration, it might not be suitable for those who dislike any feeling of weight or stuffiness on their lips.
