The lather is great, the scent is pleasant, and my hair texture seems to have improved a bit. As for its effectiveness against hair loss, it seems I'll need to use it for a longer period to really tell. - jh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJun 13, 2025
I snagged this for a great price at Daiso! It lathers up nicely, which I really like. I bought this because it was supposed to be good for hair loss... But it doesn't seem to be working at all. - fi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJun 7, 2025
After about two weeks of use, I've noticed less hair falling in the bathroom! It lathers up nicely and feels gentle when massaging into the scalp, resulting in less tangling. The scent is also pleasant and not overwhelming. The amount seems to run out quickly. I wish it came in a larger size. I have a collection of strong, sulfate-based shampoos at home. I've found that using those for an initial wash, followed by this ginseng shampoo as a second cleanse, leaves my hair feeling refreshed while also being beneficial for preventing hair loss. - s6******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 5, 2025
I bought this because it was getting so much hype on social media. I'm almost done with a bottle, but I'm not sure if it's really that great... I guess it's decent for the price of 5000 won? I can't really tell if the cleansing effectiveness is good or if it's reducing hair loss. It seems like my scalp odor comes back pretty quickly.... In conclusion, at least the value for money is good! As a Hwahae Tester, I'd say this product works hard for its price point, but it might not be a miracle worker. While it may not dramatically improve scalp health or prevent hair loss, it does offer a budget-friendly option for those looking to try a new hair care product. If you have a sensitive scalp or are prone to irritation, you might want to keep an eye on how your skin reacts. Remember, everyone's hair and scalp are different, so what works for some may not work for others. It might be worth layering with other products or adjusting your hair care routine to see if you can enhance its effects. - 25********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 21, 2025
As someone with seborrheic, sensitive, oily, and blemish-prone scalp, I found this product to be a pleasant surprise. The fragrance was delightful, and its cleansing effectiveness was impressive. The product volume was on the smaller side. I did experience some itching along my hairline and scalp. - he***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
First, it has a good cost-performance ratio. The ingredients are also decent, so it's not burdensome to use it regularly. The formulation seems a bit runny, so it seems to be used up quickly. There are no particularly disappointing aspects. - wl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
The scent is really nice and earthy, and the lather is super bubbly and great. Sometimes my hair gets itchy if I use the wrong shampoo, but this one is just fine!! There don't seem to be any downsides. I've been using it because they say it's good for hair loss, but I'm not sure if it's actually effective. - va******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2025
It seems like a good product that I purchased and used from Daiso. The scalp seems a bit sensitive, but I'll try to use it diligently. - yo********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 19, 2025
My hair feels so soft and silky now! And I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seems like my hair has a bit more volume too? It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather up very well. But aside from that, everything else is great. I'll probably buy it again when I run out! - ww*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 19, 2025
I loved the herbal scent - it wasn't overpowering, just a subtle fragrance that didn't irritate my nose. The shampoo lathered up nicely with plenty of foam, giving me a thorough cleansing sensation. The consistency is similar to a regular shampoo, flowing easily. As someone with extremely dry and sensitive scalp who prioritizes dandruff control when choosing shampoos, I had high hopes after using the Daiso Red Ginseng Scalp Shampoo for a month. For context, I previously used Dr. O's Scalp Hoho Tea Tree Shampoo and C's Amino Biotin All-Power Shampoo. While these had their merits, they didn't fully address my winter dandruff issues. The Daiso shampoo initially seemed promising with its pleasant scent and apparent dandruff control. However, by the third week, my scalp started flaking excessively, progressing to scab formation by the fourth week. This was far worse than my experience with previous shampoos, which at least left my hair feeling firm but not dry. The Daiso shampoo left my hair feeling both stiff and parched, a condition that persisted even after using conditioner or treatment. I switched to I's Top-to-Toe, which stabilized my scalp within three days. In summary: 1. Nice scent and good lather. 2. Left my hair feeling extremely dry, as if I'd bleached it three times. 3. Severely irritated my scalp, causing excessive flaking and scabbing in some cases. Not recommended for those with very dry and sensitive scalps.
