As someone with dehydrated dry skin, I was pleased with how well it absorbed into my skin.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to improve pores.

Scent/Texture: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I found it almost unscented. The texture is quite thin, but it doesn't immediately run down your face when applied. 2. Acne: For the first day or two, my skin seemed to improve! As I'll mention later, my skin texture felt incredibly smooth, and my complexion looked brighter overall. However, 3-4 large blemishes and a few smaller ones appeared afterwards (not due to this product, it was just my acne cycle). These haven't subsided for 3-4 days now. Since I've only added this ampoule to my regular routine, it doesn't seem particularly effective at eliminating acne. 3. Soothing: It seems to calm the skin well! My usually severe redness has improved a bit. Overall, my skin feels more soothed, which might be why my skin texture looks more even and brighter. 4. Hydration: As someone with oily skin who really dislikes feeling greasy, especially in summer, I'm happy to report there's none of that with this product! It absorbs quickly, leaving no residue - so much so that you might wonder if you applied anything at all. I was concerned it might lead to deep dryness, but it seems to provide inner hydration too. Those with dry skin might find it insufficient on its own, but who uses just an ampoule anyway?! I think it's worth trying even for those with dry, acne-prone skin.
ConsI didn't really notice any downsides! The Hwahae product description mentions it can reduce blackheads and pores, but I haven't noticed any changes in those areas yet. However, it does say results are seen after 4 weeks of use, so I'll update after using it longer.

Fast Soothing My skin tends to get very red and burn after cleansing, but after layering this once and gently patting it in with my palms, I can see the irritation subsiding quickly. At first I didn't notice, but it seems to be improving my everyday redness too. 2. Blemishes (Inflammatory) Two inflammatory acne spots on my cheeks are in the process of disappearing. While I haven't seen much effect on other types of acne, it's definitely working on the inflammatory ones. 3. Deep Hydration Due to the sebum-controlling medication I'm taking, I tend to get severe flaking around my mouth and T-zone. While it doesn't completely eliminate the issue, I can definitely feel it providing a good amount of hydration.
Cons1. Oiliness It feels like there's excess oil sitting on top of my skin. It seems too ambiguous for oily skin types to use, yet too light for dry skin types. To put it positively, I think this is an ampoule that combination dehydrated skin types would absolutely love. 2. Closed Comedones Perhaps due to the excess oil clogging my pores, a few small bumps have appeared on my forehead...

Let me give you a detailed review of my experience. Texture: First off, the consistency is like thin mucus. It's definitely more fluid than other viscous products, so keep that in mind. However, it's not so runny that it becomes inconvenient to use. Blemishes/Marks: While my previous serum also focused on blemishes, I found this one to be more effective in fading marks. I can't say the marks completely disappeared, but I noticed the redness gradually subsiding. It seems worth using consistently. Hydration: Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes while using this product, which suggests it's quite gentle. I also loved that it's fragrance-free. I used it in summer after my exfoliating toner and before my moisturizer. On its own, it might be a bit drying, especially for those with dry skin in winter. Packaging: It comes in a plastic container. Having used glass bottles before, I definitely noticed how much lighter this is.
ConsIn terms of pore tightening and oil reduction, I didn't notice significant changes during my two-week trial. These effects might become more apparent with long-term use. Also, when you press the dropper lightly, not much product comes out. You get about as much as shown in the attached photo... which isn't ideal. As mentioned earlier, those with dry skin might find this too drying if used alone.
TipI used this serum alongside soothing toner pads and a spot treatment for marks. This combination seemed to create a synergistic effect in managing my skin concerns!

However, while I haven't felt much impact from popular soothing ampoules from Olive Young like Me*hil, this one showed noticeably impressive results! Reduces redness: I used this alongside a cica cream from another brand, which might have created a synergistic effect. But I definitely noticed that redness from acne marks faded faster compared to when I used the cica cream alone.
ConsDespite some ads claiming it's suitable for blackhead-prone skin, it doesn't actually help remove blackheads. I didn't notice any improvement in skin texture. Unfortunately, I also didn't see any improvement in pores.

The product is a very lightweight ampoule, almost like a toner. When applied, it's noticeably hydrating without any rich feeling, making it great for acne-prone skin. I loved how it visibly refined my skin texture and gave me a boost of hydration.
ConsThe lightweight plastic packaging was a bit disappointing. While it does have a soothing effect, after using it for about a week, I didn't notice any significant changes in my pores, blemishes, or dark spots. The formula has low viscosity and is very thin, which seems insufficient for maintaining hydration.
TipTo maintain hydration, follow up with an emulsion or cream after use.

It seems to have a good balance of oil and moisture.
ConsI was hoping for pore care and soothing effects from the cica ingredients, but I'll need to use it until summer to really tell.

It makes your skin look great when applied. The formula has a water-like consistency, and the scent is mild - nothing overpowering. It's a safe choice overall, and best of all, it doesn't cause any irritation!
ConsWhile it seems to absorb well, it doesn't feel like it's penetrating deep into the pores. Instead, it gives the impression of clogging them? It felt heavy on the skin. Despite being labeled as a soothing and blemish-fighting ampoule, it felt more like applying heavy water to my face. It doesn't particularly soothe or improve blemishes - it's more like applying a non-irritating, water-like ampoule. There's really no noticeable effect. I can't recommend it because although it claims to be soothing and target blemishes, it doesn't do either. It's also ineffective for acne.
