When washing, try massaging your scalp with your fingertips to work up a lather all over. Then leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing for best results.

Personally, I think it's great value for money. I used to use another Ryo shampoo, but it was discontinued. I really hope this one stays around for at least 5 years. I'm tired of having to switch shampoos all the time.

Since I have an oily scalp, if there's a bit of oiliness or blemishes, I do a light pre-wash before shampooing again.

I still experience some scalp itchiness, which hasn't completely gone away. Being that I have an oily scalp, I sometimes do a pre-wash, and I also use a bit more shampoo due to my thick hair - these factors might contribute. While the itchiness has decreased compared to before, the effect on this particular issue isn't significant yet.

I've been using this product for over a month now, and I occasionally used it before when it had the blue mark prior to being discontinued. I thought it was gone for good, but it came back upgraded! The first thing you notice is the claim of '100% effective for scalp blemishes', and I can confirm it really works. I have an oily scalp and even famous international anti-blemish shampoos didn't do much for me, but with this one, my scalp blemishes significantly decreased within a week. They might reappear slightly if I don't wash my hair for a day or two, but overall, they've definitely reduced. Moreover, one of the main reasons I bought it is because the ingredients are gentler compared to other shampoos. I plan to keep purchasing this shampoo for the foreseeable future. If you have an oily scalp prone to blemishes like me, you must try this. The scent is mild, and it keeps oil at bay for about a day after washing. Unlike many shampoos for oily scalps that tend to dry out the hair, this one doesn't leave my hair feeling overly dry.

Due to its gentleness, the cleansing effectiveness is somewhat reduced. It doesn't quite eliminate stubborn odors from the hair.

As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciate that this product has almost no lingering scent. It definitely feels gentle on the skin.

For permed or color-treated hair, be sure to use a treatment or hair mask along with this shampoo.

Since my hair is color-treated and permed, I always follow up with a treatment to prevent dryness.

• Usually with gentle, sensitive, or low pH products, you need to shampoo twice to remove oil. However, this product must have effective cleansing agents because one wash is more than enough.

Dandruff explosion! It doesn't seem to cleanse properly, and my scalp feels itchy. This shampoo apparently can't balance sensitivity and cleansing effectiveness.

What a disaster! By nighttime, my scalp starts to itch subtly. I wash my hair daily, but using Ryo's oily hair shampoo makes my hair too stiff. I tried this one, but after just one day, it feels like I haven't washed at all - quite troublesome. While it's okay to use daily, it feels like blemishes are constantly waiting to appear.
