It's amazing how this product banishes excess oil and effectively removes dead skin cells! It's truly impressive! However, if you try to forcefully remove impurities by rubbing too hard, it can lead to inflamed acne and skin irritation. So sad! Remember to be gentle when using this product to avoid aggravating your skin. Proper application is key to achieving the best results without causing unwanted reactions. - ye******Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 12, 2025
First off, it's really effective at removing excess sebum and blackheads, so I'd recommend it to a lot of people. However, if you use that cleaner a bit too vigorously, your skin turns really red and it seems to last for about a week. If you're going to buy it anyway, I'd suggest getting the whole set. I wouldn't recommend buying just this single item. - de******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2025
This is fantastic for removing blackheads. The results are truly impressive! It's a bit pricier compared to other sebum softeners, but the effectiveness makes it worth it. - yj***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 11, 2025
It effectively removes excess sebum, and using it with a pore cleansing device enhances the results even more! When used alone, it's not quite as effective at removing sebum. It works better when paired with a cleansing device. For optimal results, consider incorporating this product into a comprehensive skincare routine that includes both manual and device-assisted cleansing methods. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 10, 2025
An effective sebum softener for managing blackheads! While nose packs can be pricey for frequent use, investing in a sebum softener is a smart choice. It lasts longer and can be used not just on your nose, but also on your forehead and chin. I highly recommend getting one! When used, it leaves your skin feeling smooth, and its effectiveness rivals that of nose packs. That's why I make sure to use it at least once a week! No matter how gently you try to remove softened sebum, there's bound to be some irritation. However, this product caused less irritation than others! For those with super sensitive skin, I recommend using it once every two weeks. How to use a sebum softener: [Before showering] 1. Cleanse your face thoroughly 2. Apply the sebum softener to your nose using a cotton pad 3. Wrap with plastic wrap and wait 5-10 minutes 4. Remove and take a shower (make sure to wet your face thoroughly!) 5. After showering, use an extraction tool to gently remove blackheads (deep cleaner recommended) 6. Rinse with water 7. Replenish moisture where blackheads were removed (aloe mask recommended) [After showering] 1. Apply the sebum softener to your nose using a cotton pad 2. Wrap with plastic wrap 3. Dampen a face towel and microwave for 1 minute 4. Place the warm face towel over the plastic wrap and let it soften for about 5 minutes 5. Use an extraction tool to gently remove blackheads 6. Rinse with water or use a cleansing oil 7. Replenish moisture where blackheads were removed Blackhead management tips: • Use a sebum softener once every 1-2 weeks • Use a physical sunscreen (I highly recommend this! I always used chemical sunscreens, but after switching to physical, I noticed less sebum production. Not only did my blackheads improve, but my overall skin condition got much better!) • Use a clay mask 1-2 times a week • For combination skin, use separate creams for T-zone and U-zone (especially for nighttime creams, it's better to use different ones!) I used to have really bad blackheads, but they've improved significantly with consistent care! I'm sharing these little tips I've gathered from personal experience. - an*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 9, 2025
At first, I didn't reach for it much, but I think I wasn't using it correctly. When I soak a cotton pad, place it on my nose and chin, then take a hot shower, it's amazing how much sebum comes out... The performance isn't disappointing. I'm just looking for the perfect cotton pad to pair it with. It's quite pricey - jj*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
It seems to be on the gentler side of sebum softeners. I experienced no irritation after use. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. The twist-open container makes it easier to control the amount you use. I find that using a blackhead remover tool can be too harsh on my skin, so I prefer to use a cotton swab to gently wipe away impurities. - 7b***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 8, 2025
It's great to use this when you're dealing with excess sebum production. I feel like it helps soften my skin a bit. I don't have any major complaints. There's a slight tingling sensation that can feel a bit intense, but it should be fine if you keep the application time short. - hy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The sebum really comes out like a waterfall... I mean, seriously! I used to have to pick at my hard nose with my fingers, but now I don't need to do that anymore. I'm so happy about it! The scent is a bit strong... It's like ammonia or perm solution smell... This product seems to be excellent for deep cleansing and removing blackheads, especially on the nose area. It's effective in clearing out pores and reducing sebum production. However, the strong scent might be a drawback for some users who are sensitive to smells. Despite this minor issue, the overall benefits for blemish-prone skin appear to outweigh the negatives. - a0**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 7, 2025
I bought this because I heard it was great for excessive sebum on the nose, and it really is good! Here's how to use it: First, cleanse lightly with water. Then, apply the product to a cotton pad and leave it on for about 10 minutes. After that, gently scrape off the product - don't be too rough. Finally, wash your face with a mild, low pH foam cleanser. This routine works wonders! Be careful not to use it too often, as it can irritate your skin. Using it once every 1-2 weeks is just right.
