It works pretty well overall. The scent is pleasant and the price is reasonable. It's a shame it doesn't come in a larger size. It would be more convenient to keep in the bathroom and use regularly. - pa********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 11, 2025
The scent is lovely, the ingredients are great, and the rich lather leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth after use. It's a product that offers excellent value for money. Sometimes it feels so slippery that I'm not sure if I've rinsed it all off properly... haha! - kh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 7, 2025
The fragrance is absolutely delightful! It's great value for money with its generous size and reasonable price. I'm satisfied with its perfect level of hydration. So far, I don't have any particular complaints. However, I suspect it might be a bit drying during winter... - wa*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 7, 2025
It's generally suitable for everyday use and feels lightweight on the skin. The fragrance is a bit strong, and I'm not sure about its effectiveness. - ks*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The foam is soft and gentle on the skin, without any irritation. After showering, my skin feels fresh and comfortable without any tightness, which I'm really pleased with. I especially appreciate that it doesn't sting or irritate areas with blemishes. Scent: The fragrance is refreshing with subtle herbal notes. It's not artificial at all, but rather a natural scent that creates a relaxing shower experience. There's a pleasant lingering scent afterwards, which lifts my mood even without perfume. The mild fragrance makes it suitable for the whole family to use. Effectiveness: After about two weeks of use, I noticed a reduction in the small blemishes on my back. The redness and itching decreased, and overall my skin texture felt smoother. While the results aren't dramatic, it's the kind of product that shows its benefits with consistent use. Considering how many ineffective body blemish products I've tried, I'm quite satisfied with this level of improvement. Ingredients: The star ingredient is mastic oil, known for its excellent soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. There are clinical studies supporting its effectiveness for acne-prone and troubled skin, which gave me confidence in using it. It also contains other calming and brightening ingredients like Centella Asiatica extract, allantoin, and niacinamide, making it suitable for sensitive and delicate skin. I'm relieved it's free from irritants like parabens and artificial colorants! There weren't any notable downsides... I'm satisfied with the scent, feel, and functionality overall. The Hwahae Testers would likely appreciate this body wash for its gentle yet effective formula that works hard to address blemishes and skin concerns. It's particularly suitable for those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin. The product seems to balance oil and moisture well, promoting an inner glow without causing irritation. Its cleansing effectiveness paired with soothing ingredients makes it a great addition to a daily skincare routine. - yb******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Experience: Compared to other acne body washes I've tried before, this one produces a richer, more substantial foam when lathered. Body type: I tend to have acne on my chest and back, with oily skin in those areas. Results: While it's hard to say if it's solely due to this product or also my diet and exercise routine, I feel it's been effective in removing dead skin cells and excess oil. Once I finish the bottle and see more noticeable results, I'll update my review. Despite having sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes or irritation. It felt very gentle on my skin. - hj*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 29, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When you first squeeze it out, it feels firm? It gave me a sense of luxury. It lathers well, and both the texture and feel during use are pleasant. I don't usually have high expectations for body washes or spend much time deliberating over them, so I haven't tried a wide variety to compare. However, I believe this product fulfills its primary function as a body wash quite effectively. Before using it, I did some research and found that it's supposed to be good for antioxidation, brightening, and blemish-prone skin. Indeed, during the time I used it, I didn't experience any back acne or body blemishes! While my skin isn't particularly sensitive to external factors, I do suffer from what might be stress-induced seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis. During the period of use, my skin seemed to become healthier overall. The fragrance is subtle. It's not unpleasant, but as someone sensitive to smells, I wondered if adding fragrance was really necessary. While it's marketed for blemishes, it seems folliculitis is a different issue, as I still needed separate treatment for that. One good squeeze is enough to cover your entire body. - ro*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's surprisingly effective for body acne and back acne. With this heat, you'd expect sweat to cause blemishes, but it actually calms them down - amazing! A little goes a long way - the rich lather and texture are so satisfying. While it's not ultra-hydrating, it's incredibly gentle and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after rinsing. The fragrance-free formula is perfect for those of us with sensitive noses. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out! Highly recommended! The price might seem steep at first glance, but considering the generous size and how little you need (just half a pump is enough), it's actually quite economical. You can easily wash your entire body with plenty of foam to spare! This product is perfect for blemish-prone skin. When used with a shower puff, the lather quadruples! It's great for exfoliating dead skin cells and seems to have a brightening effect too! - it******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It felt like the dead skin cells on my body were coming off more easily than usual. It produces a lot of foam, making showering convenient. While it doesn't leave you feeling squeaky clean, it washes off smoothly and gently. The truly amazing thing is that after using it, the blemishes on my back improved. With other body washes, my condition would worsen or remain the same, but after using this product, I was amazed to see that my stubborn back blemishes, which were hard to soothe before, had actually calmed down. I highly recommend this product to those struggling with back blemishes. It really works! P.S. I'm extremely satisfied with how rich and creamy the lather is... I didn't experience any issues while using it, but I think the scent might be a bit divisive. The reviewer emphasizes the product's effectiveness in treating back blemishes and its gentle cleansing properties. They also highlight the rich lather and overall satisfaction with the body wash, despite noting that the scent might not appeal to everyone. - mo*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As the weather's heating up, I'm dealing with oily skin that's prone to folliculitis. My scalp and back are also on the oily side, while my arms and legs tend to be a bit dry due to atopic dermatitis. Overall, my skin is prone to itchy, red rashes from atopic flare-ups, and when it gets hot, I'm likely to get some back acne too. With the recent rise in temperature, my skin's been pumping out oil, which is when I decided to give the Mastina body wash a try. It's not my first rodeo with body washes designed for blemish-prone skin. I've previously used an acidic body wash with tea tree oil, but I wasn't a fan of that slippery feeling typical of low pH products, so I didn't reach for it often. I was skeptical about the Mastina body wash being acidic too, but I was pleasantly surprised. It left my skin feeling clean without being overly dry - a perfect balance. I suspect it's the combination of AHA, BHA, and PHA exfoliating ingredients that gives it a cleaner feel compared to other acidic products I've tried. This aspect really won me over. As for the scent, it reminds me of baby powder, but since it's a body wash and not a cream, I'm not too fussy about it. However, if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to keep that in mind. Another thing I love is the lather. I'm not a fan of the sparse, loose foam typical of low pH products as it doesn't feel like it's cleaning effectively. But this one produces a rich, abundant lather that's very satisfying. After about ten days of use, I can't say I've seen any dramatic changes in my body blemishes, but considering how often we shower in the hot summer months, I appreciate that it doesn't dry out my skin while still providing some exfoliation. I can see myself reaching for this often. It's a solid choice for a summer body wash. One downside is that the volume seems a bit small for the price. The tea tree body wash I used before was over 500ml, while the Mastina is only 400ml, making it a bit pricey for the amount you get. It might be a bit too expensive for everyday, liberal use.
