I bought this for my boyfriend who has extremely oily skin, looking for something light and fast-absorbing, especially for summer. He says it absorbs even quicker than the Pine Tree Cica from the same brand, which he really likes. It seems it's not great for oil control... It's a product I've been using consistently for about 2 years now! First of all, it's a large-sized product, so it's great in terms of cost-effectiveness and there's no burden on the price, so I'm still using it for my body as well. I think the biggest advantage of the Dokdo Lotion is its cost-effectiveness! I don't like sticky or slippery formulas, but the Dokdo Lotion isn't very sticky. The formula is a bit heavy, so I think it suits dry skin types better than oily skin. It pairs well with the Dokdo Toner, so I complete my winter skincare routine with just the Dokdo Toner and Dokdo Lotion!! And above all, it doesn't contain any harmful or allergenic ingredients, so it worked well for my sensitive skin. The Dokdo series as a whole has great ingredients, so I strongly recommend the ampoule and pads to those with sensitive skin as well! Since my skin type is more oily, I tend to not use it much in the summer. While it doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts, the excess oil makes my skin too shiny when I apply it and go out. Highly sebum-controlling products are best avoided or used as body products in the winter. Personally, I prefer a slightly shiny look over dry skin, so I've used it well, but if you have an extremely oily skin type, it's a good idea to take this into consideration. If you have a dry skin type, it would be convenient to use the products mainly for the body in the summer and for both the face and body in the winter. For those with dry skin, it would be sufficient to strengthen the basic skincare routine with other products only in the winter. I find that using the Dokdo toner and Dokdo lotion together works well, so in the winter I complete my basic skincare with these two products. It felt refreshing to finish it in one go. If the gentlemen are not too sensitive, you can use it more. And I may have been slightly mistaken, but I think I saw a bit of a whitening effect. Haha The real real downside is none, but you should be a bit careful with the troubled areas..? this is a really great gift for real men!!
