I couldn't take a photo since I was out, but I tried this after it was newly stocked at our local department store. On days when I applied makeup after using this, I received so many compliments on my skin looking beautiful that I ended up buying two more! The spray power is incredibly strong, so you need to be careful when applying it. I'd recommend tilting your head back slightly and spraying from above, as if you're catching raindrops on your face. - de**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 16, 2025
My skin is thin, pale, prone to wrinkles, and sensitive. When I spray this generously on my face after showering or cleansing, it feels amazing. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, and it absorbs well into the skin. Even though it's quickly absorbed in the dry spring weather, it still leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I also love the generous size of the bottle! There's nothing to complain about yet - I absolutely love it! If they ever do a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, I'd stock up like crazy. - go*******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2025
All La Roche-Posay products are generally good, but their toner is especially effective for soothing the skin as it's made with chamomile. It's great for summer use, and I highly recommend it for those with redness. The toner is gentle and non-irritating, with no alcohol content, so you feel an immediate calming effect as soon as you apply it. The spray function is really disappointing. For this price point, you'd expect at least a fine mist, but it's more like shooting your face with a water gun. - m_******Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 23, 2024
The scent is absolutely delightful! The staff mentioned it has a relaxing effect, so you can use it like a pillow mist. When I spritz it before bed or whenever I want a moisture boost throughout the day, the fragrance instantly lifts my mood! It's also perfect as an exfoliating toner after cleansing, with a great texture and finish that leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It feels more watery than I expected, so I'm not sure about its hydration power. It also tends to sting a bit around the eyes, which is unfortunate. However, the scent is so lovely that I'm determined to use it up! It works better as an exfoliating toner than a mist! If you use a thin cotton pad, it gets saturated quickly, which seems to work well. - al********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2024
From exfoliating toner to mist, La Roche's Tonic Emulsion is absolutely fantastic! As I frequently visit the swimming pool, my skin gets really damaged by the chlorine disinfectant. I desperately need something to protect my skin barrier! That's when I decided to try La Roche's Tonic Emulsion. I have combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin that's constantly acting up, getting red and causing all sorts of trouble. It's really hard to find a toner I can use without worry. I've tried expensive ones too, but price doesn't matter when it comes to skin reactions. However, La Roche's Tonic Emulsion truly hydrates my skin without any adverse reactions and even helps calm my irritated skin. The Tonic Emulsion comes in a spray bottle that delivers a strong, even mist. As you can see from the photo of my hand, it sprays quite generously with just one press. Because it's so powerful, spraying too close can make your skin quite damp, so when using it as a mist, spray from a distance! You can use it as an exfoliating toner by spraying it on a cotton pad, or leave it on as a quick hydrating mask. When I've tried quick masks with other international brand toners, my face would turn red and blotchy, but with La Roche, there was no such reaction. I was so amazed and pleasantly surprised! With its various uses and soothing effects, it's perfect for protecting against the harsh pool water for swimmers like me. You can even use it on your body, though I've only used it on my face to save product. Unlike some mists that can dry out your skin due to alcohol evaporation, La Roche doesn't leave your skin feeling dry at all. It really seems like a versatile, multi-use toner. Another great thing is that it doesn't contain limonene, which is toxic to cats. As a cat owner, it's hard to find cosmetics without this ingredient, so I'm glad I can use this freely. The generous amount is also a plus! One minor drawback might be that the mist isn't very fine and comes out quite forcefully. If you spray until your face is saturated, it can drip down. Try using it as an exfoliating toner by spraying generously on a cotton pad, and also use it as a mist when your skin feels dry. - ss*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 16, 2024
Worth the splurge! I bought this hydrating mist for office use, as it's been getting hot since late spring this year. La Roche-Posay is on the pricier side, but I managed to snag it at a reasonable price during the Beauty Curly Festival with additional payment discounts! (About 60% off the regular price) Cooling relief After lunch, when I return to my desk, I often feel heat on my scalp and cheekbones, and dryness around my mouth. Although it's a bit expensive for frequent use, I've designated it for touch-ups after lunch. With its rose base, it doesn't feel overpowering, and the alcohol-free formula prevents dryness even after extended wear. The texture is close to water, but it contains some moisturizing ingredients, making it feel less evaporative compared to other spray toners. The only downside: the spray nozzle While the packaging is nearly perfect, it's disappointing that even some affordable cosmetics now come with a fine mist spray, but this product's spray power leaves much to be desired. The pump is attractively plump, but the nozzle opening seems too large. When sprayed from about 15cm away, it concentrates in the center as shown in the last photo. Even when spraying from 30cm onto the face, it still feels too centralized. This makes it a bit challenging for touch-ups. Also, spraying from further away makes it feel like this precious toner is just dispersing into the air... It might be more effective to use at home right after cleansing, allowing the active ingredients to be applied directly to the face. Given its Damascus rose water content, it seems too luxurious to spray on a dusty face. Would repurchase (with conditions) 1. Not at full price - only during special sales 2. After using a separate large-sized exfoliating toner 3. Will use sparingly, treating it like I'm imprinting rose water onto my face
