As someone who takes hair treatments seriously, I'm on my third tub of this product. When you really work it into your hair, you can definitely feel your strands becoming heavier, as if they're soaking up all the nourishment. The jar packaging is a bit inconvenient from a hygiene perspective, as you have to scoop it out. But it's still worth using if you can overlook that. Make sure to massage it in thoroughly. I use this product religiously as part of my daily routine. Using it together with the tube-type cream from the same line creates a synergistic effect. - 12**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 1, 2024
Personally, I loved the subtle fragrance that didn't make me feel nauseous. The thick consistency was great for applying to my hair without dripping, and it rinsed out easily without leaving any slippery residue, which I found satisfying. As someone with slightly wavy hair, I noticed an improvement in softness, while the calming effect and shine were about average. The jar packaging can be a bit inconvenient to use and raises some hygiene concerns. - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedOct 3, 2024
As someone with atopic and extremely dry skin prone to dermatitis, I've struggled with skin issues since childhood. My skin is like a jellyfish - fragile and easily irritated. I probably have more incompatible ingredients than compatible ones, haha! Pros and Overall Review: 1) The scent profile is described as: Top notes: Pear / Bergamot Middle notes: Sandalwood / Amber Base notes: Honeysuckle / Lily In reality, when you open the lid, there's a subtle honey-like aroma reminiscent of poached pears. After washing your hair, the sweet scent fades, leaving behind a lovely lily fragrance. Like other Narca products, it's not overpowering but has an elegant, subtle lingering scent. 2) The texture is quite firm, which initially reminded me of those cheap hair packs sold in street cosmetic shops for just $10. You know, the ones that are hard to apply and rinse out? But this one, despite its firm texture, spreads easily and rinses out well. As per the instructions, just one tablespoon is enough to cover your entire head of hair. 3) Unlike some masks that only make your hair look good for a day, this one's effects last for 2-3 days. 4) After use, you don't just get surface shine - you can feel the nourishment deep in the hair shaft. The cuticles seem to fill in, especially noticeable on damaged ends. 5) I initially used it 2-3 times a week all over, then switched to daily application on just the damaged ends (about a coin-sized amount). I used a different treatment for the rest of my hair. This method worked wonders! 6) This product is a game-changer for those with severely damaged or bleached hair. It makes a significant difference, especially when used in conjunction with daily care products. 7) It doesn't cause blemishes around the ears or nape of the neck, which is why I love Narca products. Conclusion: Among the products I've used over the years, this is hands-down the best, second only to a now-discontinued Kérastase treatment (which was much more expensive and caused skin irritation due to sulfates). Finding a good product is hard enough, let alone one that doesn't cause blemishes. I'm going to use this without complaint and enjoy it! Highly recommended! Cons: 1) It has the typical drawbacks of jar packaging. (I recommend using a dedicated disposable spoon for this product) 2) The price is quite high, so it's hard to use liberally. However, I consider it more affordable than salon treatments, and given its effectiveness, I plan to repurchase. 3) There aren't many other downsides to mention. Instead of using it once or twice a week all over, you might want to try applying a small amount daily to the damaged areas, especially the ends, while using a regular treatment for the rest of your hair. This wouldn't work for those with bleached hair, of course. I found that daily application to the ends was more effective than using it all over once or twice a week. Find the usage frequency that works best for you! - fi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2024
The rich, creamy texture felt perfect for winter use. The product design is also stylish and cute. I bought it because it was vegan without properly checking the ingredients. When I reviewed the EWG ratings again, I was disappointed to find quite a few ingredients I'd rather avoid. Also, possibly due to the high content of silicone oils like dimethicone, I got blemishes on my scalp and back. While silicones may show immediate effects, they don't actually solve the underlying causes of damaged hair. I'm very disappointed with the ingredients in this product. - ch*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 20, 2023
After using a lightweight treatment that left my hair in poor condition, I tried this one. Its thick consistency definitely makes a difference - my hair instantly becomes incredibly soft, incomparable to lighter formulas. I'm considering repurchasing. While it's a bit inconvenient to dispense, it seems unavoidable given the rich texture of the product.
