I absolutely recommend this for summer! The peppermint ingredient makes your scalp feel incredibly refreshing. I bought it on an employee's recommendation, and while I don't use it daily, I reach for it on those scorching hot days or when I need a thorough hair wash. This product works hard to control oil, and I'm always satisfied every time I use it. First off, the eye-watering price is the biggest drawback. You'll definitely need to follow up with a conditioner after using this product. It really does strip away every last bit of oil from your hair, even the good stuff. This shampoo seems to be a powerful clarifying option, perfect for those with oily scalps or for occasional deep cleansing. However, its intense oil-stripping properties might be too harsh for daily use or for those with dry hair. The cooling peppermint sensation makes it a refreshing choice for hot summer days, but the high price point and need for extra conditioning afterwards are factors to consider before purchasing. - sp*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
The Rehab Salty is excellent for scalp care, ideal for use 1-2 times a week. The large salt particles feel incredibly refreshing when you apply them to your scalp and gently scrub. When you dissolve it in water, it surprisingly produces a lot of lather! It gives a healthy stimulation to the scalp, similar to wasabi but milder. Thanks to the kiwi, papaya, mango, and pineapple extracts, it leaves your scalp feeling incredibly clean and oil-free after rinsing. If you're a fan of Rehab products, wasabi, or enjoy the cooling sensation of menthol, you'll likely love this! I'd highly recommend it to those who struggle with product buildup or oily hair that gets greasy by afternoon after morning styling. Be careful not to get it near or in your eyes while shampooing - the menthol makes it impossible to open them! While using liquid shampoo daily, incorporating this once or twice a week can really help with removing dead skin cells from the scalp! - go********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2025
The refreshing minty scent is lovely, and its cleansing effectiveness is great. However, due to the significant amount of salt particles, I use it as a special care treatment once every one to two weeks. The salt grains are too large. When you apply it to your scalp and massage, the salt just falls to the floor. I wish the particles were a bit finer. They only sell it in 600g containers, which is quite large. It's about the size of a tub of ice cream you'd eat with a spoon - smaller than Together brand, though. (I mean it's big considering it's not for daily use like regular shampoo.) So I divide it into smaller portions using empty Black Pot containers I've finished. - mi********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
I snagged this during a Lush sale. As someone with an oily scalp, damaged and fine hair, I'm always on the lookout for great hair and scalp products. I'm particularly interested in salt shampoos, and this one doesn't disappoint. It has the benefits of a salt shampoo with a lovely scent, plus a refreshing minty aroma. Its cleansing effectiveness is excellent, making it especially perfect for summer use. The price is quite steep, making it hard to justify a spontaneous purchase. Also, as with most salt shampoos, it can leave your hair feeling a bit stiff. Pro tip: Keep an eye out for Lush sales or consider buying from international sites to get it at a more budget-friendly price! - fl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
It contains salt-like granules that give a thorough cleansing sensation, and I love how it leaves my scalp feeling refreshed! The inconvenience of having to twist open the cap every time I use it is a bit of a drawback - rn********Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
It rinses off well, lathers nicely, and doesn't cause any irritation! The salt granules are a bit coarse, so if you rub too hard, it can be a bit irritating to the skin. - gw*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 21, 2025
I have an extremely oily scalp, so my hair usually gets greasy just a few hours after washing. But when I use this shampoo, my hair becomes incredibly fresh and light! It stays non-greasy for much longer! The cooling sensation while washing is absolutely refreshing!!! The salt doesn't dissolve immediately... so if it falls on the floor, you might end up giving yourself an unexpected foot reflexology session! - db******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 17, 2025
The exfoliating particles are great for thoroughly cleansing oily skin in summer. It has a cooling effect that feels refreshing, and leaves your hair feeling nice. I was most concerned about dandruff, but since this is a scalp-scaling shampoo, it definitely reduces flakes compared to other shampoos! The price is way too high. Unless it's on sale, it's hard to justify buying it at full price. - 28************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2024
If you've enjoyed the liquid version of Rehab and have an oily scalp, this product is highly recommended! It's incredibly refreshing and leaves your scalp feeling clean and cool. This gem eliminates scalp oil, dandruff, and odor! Though pricey, I grab two every time I spot them in-store. One thing to note: Lush products generally have a shorter shelf life, so it's best to use them within a year. The price might be a concern for some, but I personally find it worth the investment! For best results, wet your hair and work up a lather - it'll leave your scalp feeling invigorated and thoroughly cleansed. The container is quite large and deep, which might be inconvenient for some users. I'd suggest transferring a portion into a smaller bottle for easier application.
