No excess oil emerges over time, keeping your skin balanced.
ConsThe texture doesn't absorb well - it feels stiff and tends to pill. It also causes a tingling and itchy sensation when applied. Not recommended for sensitive skin types. I personally can't use this product.

It's not too matte or oily - just the right balance. When applied, it adheres nicely to the skin, so I imagine it would work well with makeup. Even after some time, it doesn't seem to get excessively oily. Since it's a hybrid sunscreen, there's only a slight white cast initially, which disappears over time. The texture is so nice that I couldn't resist trying it, but unfortunately, it didn't suit my skin. I envy those who can use it without issues!
ConsI have seborrheic dermatitis and acne, which makes my skin super sensitive. Unfortunately, I experienced irritation with this sunscreen. I tried this hybrid sunscreen because mineral ones can be difficult to remove. However, I'm not sure if it's just this particular product that doesn't agree with me or if I need to stick to mineral sunscreens due to my skin condition. After applying it, my skin felt stinging and itchy. I only tested it on my cheekbones, so I can't say for certain if it would cause breakouts. I'm too scared to try it on my entire face. In the end, I had to stop using it due to the stinging and itching sensations.
TipWhen choosing sunscreens, those with sensitive or acne-prone skin should be cautious and patch test new products. Hybrid sunscreens can be a good middle ground between chemical and mineral formulations, but they may not work for everyone. It's important to find a sunscreen that provides adequate protection without causing irritation or blemishes.

(You know how sunscreen is most effective when applied generously, right?)
ConsIt left my hands feeling quite oily, which was uncomfortable. For some reason, it didn't agree with my skin. My face felt so itchy that I wanted to wash it off right away. The biggest drawback is the hefty price tag...
TipAfter applying the sunscreen, I found that gently patting my face with oil-absorbing sheets helped reduce some of the rich feeling.

When first applied, it may appear quite white, but it quickly absorbs, leaving a natural finish. It doesn't cause any deep dryness after application and doesn't lead to pilling with makeup.
ConsImportant: Review updated to one star after experiencing blemishes. While it's fine on my face and neck, I develop an allergic reaction when applied to my arms. Initially, I thought it was due to something else, but the reaction was more severe the second time I used it. The itching was so intense I had to use a steroid ointment. After some research, I found that certain organic sunscreen ingredients can degrade in sunlight, potentially causing allergies. Apparently, more photostable organic filters don't have this issue. In conclusion, this product just doesn't work for me when applied to my body.
TipThe reviewer's experience highlights the importance of patch testing new skincare products, especially sunscreens. While the product worked well on their face and neck, it caused an unexpected reaction on their arms. This serves as a reminder that skin sensitivity can vary across different parts of the body. The mention of photostable organic filters suggests that consumers with sensitive skin might want to look for sunscreens specifically formulated with these more stable ingredients to reduce the risk of irritation or allergic reactions.

It leaves a clean finish and provides just the right amount of hydration.
ConsI experienced a slight cooling sensation around my eyes and on areas where the skin is thinner, which was a bit uncomfortable.
TipIt's excellent to use before applying makeup, as it creates a perfect base for cosmetics to adhere to.

Product Packaging - The primary container is a tube, similar to most sunscreens. The labeling and design are simple and white. 2. Product Usability and Texture - When applying to the skin, there was almost no scent. The texture felt somewhat hydrating, making it easy to spread. Additionally, there was hardly any stinging, tightness, or heavy feeling when applying. It felt like I was thinly applying a dense cream, which was great for my sensitive skin as it caused almost no irritation. - To describe the application in more detail, it felt like applying a dense eye cream. The texture allowed for an even, thin application as desired. - After application and going about my day, I found that once some time had passed, it absorbed well with no sticky residue. There was no feeling of excess oil, and it felt set without any heaviness or discomfort, which made it very user-friendly in my opinion. - There's an aspect that I think women will especially love! In the product advertisement, it mentioned that makeup applies well over this sunscreen. I decided to test this claim myself. I applied this product before my makeup routine, waited until I felt it had absorbed, and then immediately applied my makeup. Comparing this to my experience with other brands' mineral and chemical sunscreens, I can say: 🔹️After applying the product and waiting briefly, when I applied concealer and foundation as usual, the sunscreen had set thinly and evenly, so there was no feeling of the sunscreen pilling. 🔹️Since there was no pilling or separation, my makeup didn't slide or separate either. I was able to apply my makeup as usual, which was great! Even as time passed and my makeup started to wear off while working, I felt more confident knowing I had applied this product first, ensuring more reliable sun protection! 3. Product Effectiveness - The product seemed to last for a long time, and I could feel it effectively blocking UV rays, so I was confident in its sun protection capabilities. - There was also a slight brightening effect, but without any white cast. It set naturally without feeling like it was sitting on top of the skin, which I appreciated. 4. Personal Satisfaction and Reasons - Usually, when I apply sunscreen, it tends to sting, break down quickly, and feel like it's not absorbing properly, which made me dislike sunscreens. But with the long summer ahead, I wanted to find a good sunscreen I could stick with. - When I won this product through the Hwahae Testers event, I tried it with both excitement and worry. To my surprise, I think I've found a product that exceeds my expectations. 💬My impressions after using it are: 1) I felt almost no irritation. 2) The brightening function absorbed naturally without worrying about white cast or separation. 3) It didn't interfere with makeup application. 4) After a while, it absorbed to a matte finish without any stickiness. These points really appealed to me, and I think this is the type of sunscreen I've been looking for. My skin easily gets irritated and stings from UV rays, so I'm quite sensitive to how well a sunscreen blocks UV and maintains its function. With this product, I didn't feel any stinging from UV rays in the areas where I applied it, which was reassuring and satisfying.
ConsThere was one peculiar thing - after applying, I felt a slight itching sensation after a while. This only happened on my face. However, it wasn't noticeable enough to be a major concern, so I think it should be fine for most people!

Even when I apply and layer cushion foundation, it still sits nicely on my skin! It gives a slight half-tone up effect, so I can even use it alone without foundation. It's not fragrance-free, but it's tolerable to use. As long as my skin condition is not too bad, I think I'll use it before makeup.
ConsMy skin is a bit on the sensitive side, so when I applied the product, I experienced a slight stinging sensation and some eye irritation. On days when I was feeling fatigued, I noticed my skin became flushed and warm. For those with sensitive skin, I would recommend doing a patch test first before using the product.
TipMy skin barrier is a bit weak.. ㅠ My skin feels irritated and itchy, and redness flares up right away, so I don't think I'll be able to use it much..

The texture is soft and it applies smoothly with great hydration. It provides a more natural tone-up compared to CC creams, helping to even out the skin texture. If you already have good skin, this might be enough coverage for a quick outing. As someone with oily skin, I noticed it doesn't get as greasy over time like typical sunscreens. Instead, it actually helps balance the skin, giving a somewhat matte finish, which I quite like!
ConsBe cautious about eye irritation. I applied it in the morning, and by the afternoon, my eyes felt dry and itchy. As someone with dry eye syndrome, I really noticed the effects. It seems you need to be careful with the amount you apply around the eyes - use a thin layer in that area! Other than that, I didn't experience any blemishes or other issues.
TipTake care around the eye area!

This sunscreen combines the benefits of both mineral and chemical UV filters. It has a thick consistency that doesn't run. It absorbs quickly when applied, but you can feel a slight glow on your skin. Thanks to this glow, your face looks healthier - haha! At first, I was worried it might be too oily, but contrary to appearances, the CellFusion C sunscreen isn't greasy at all. It absorbs rapidly with a few pats. The white cast isn't severe, and it adheres well to the skin, seeming to 'stick' to enlarged pores. The natural tone-up effect is exactly what I wanted - even better! Plus, there's no stinging or irritation in the eyes.
ConsI have seborrheic dermatitis and extremely sensitive atopic skin, so I should have carefully checked the ingredients before applying to be a Hwahae Tester. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it after just two applications, not completing the 14-day trial. I'm not sure if the fragrance ingredients caused blemishes, but even after the first use, I experienced redness, swelling, and itching, though it subsided after some time. However, after 7 hours, my makeup started to separate and crack, and there was some pilling. This made me think I shouldn't use it under makeup. On the second use, I applied it alone after skincare. Initially, there were no blemishes or itching, but after 7 hours, the blemishes appeared again. I applied for this trial because it was recommended at Olive Young as suitable even after laser treatments, thinking it would be fine for me too. While I'm not certain if the product doesn't suit me or if it's due to something I ate, the fact that blemishes only appeared on my facial skin suggests it's not compatible with my skin type. I would advise those with extremely sensitive skin conditions like mine to consider carefully before using.
TipIt's unfortunate that this product didn't work for me.

The ingredients are gentle. I haven't been using perfume lately and all my skincare is fragrance-free, so the slight cosmetic scent is actually welcome. I rather like the fragrance. The absorption is not bad at all. It helps control skin oiliness.
ConsSlight pilling and emphasizes dead skin cells when applying makeup. It's a bit tough to remove. And why does it make my skin itchy? It's too drying. My skin texture becomes... a bit strange.
