Usually, my face gets oily around lunchtime, but with this on, it seemed less greasy. Also, I often break out in small blisters like a rash when I use the wrong sunscreen, but thankfully that didn't happen with this one! It's almost fragrance-free, so I felt comfortable applying it. I'd recommend this for oily and combination skin types.
ConsThis is definitely not an easy-wash-off product. Even after using foam cleanser twice and soap once, there was still a noticeable residue of sunscreen on my face, so I had to use a cleansing oil that I rarely use. The emulsification process with the cleansing oil is absolutely necessary. Only after using this and following up with a foam cleanser did it seem somewhat removed, and sometimes I even had to use the foam cleanser twice. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes because of this, but there's a possibility they could develop if some areas aren't cleansed properly. Oh, and it does leave a bit of a white cast!
TipEmulsification with cleansing oil is a must...!!! Double cleansing is essential!!!

It has a non-sticky finish, so it doesn't feel heavy or greasy, even on warmer days. I've also tried using it under my Hera Black Cushion foundation, and it works well without causing any pilling or separation. Additionally, this sunscreen doesn't cause any stinging or irritation around the eyes, which is a common issue with some sunscreen products. I've used it for various occasions, like when going out, and also before applying my makeup, and it's been a reliable and comfortable choice.
ConsThere didn't seem to be any major drawbacks! If I had to point out one, it would be that there was a slight residual feeling left on the hands.
TipHighly recommended for summer sunscreen! Strongly recommended for those who dislike sticky sunscreen.

Scent: Similar to the previous Cellfusion C Laser Sunscreen - a subtle floral fragrance? Texture and application: A consistency between emulsion and cream that applies smoothly with great adherence. It feels moisturizing when applied but dries to a comfortable, non-greasy finish. White cast: Compared to the pre-renewal mineral sunscreen, it's a happy medium between organic and mineral filters. It spreads easily like an organic sunscreen but has a slight initial white cast. However, this mostly disappears once fully absorbed (see photo). Compatibility with makeup: The non-sticky, smooth, and matte finish allows for excellent adherence. When wearing makeup, there's no pilling or sliding, and it doesn't get overly oily as the day progresses. Definitely considering repurchasing. Blemishes: Having sensitive skin that often reacts to new products, I'm pleased to report no adverse reactions after two weeks of use.
ConsDouble cleansing is a must! Using only a cleansing foam leaves residue on the skin.

I also liked that it didn't get too oily even after some time. - As a makeup base, it's not sticky and provides a smooth finish, allowing makeup to adhere well. [First Impressions] ▪️Application: It has the texture of a moisturizer with some oil content. When spread with hands, it applies thinly with adequate hydration and no stickiness. The slight richness without stickiness made it great as a makeup base - it didn't pill and provided good moisture for smooth makeup application. ▪️White cast: There's a very slight white cast if you apply a lot, but it's almost non-existent and applies sheer, allowing skin to show through. ▪️Scent: Subtle floral fragrance ▪️Cleansing * Cleansing foam, water [Tool use or double cleansing needed] 1. Single cleanse with one product left residue 2. Product + tool (cotton pad, cleansing puff) removed completely 3. Double cleanse with water then foam removed completely without tools * Cleansing oil [Removes cleanly in one step]
ConsThere's still some oily residue after washing, so you definitely need to double cleanse thoroughly!
Tip[Comparison with previously used products] Make P:rem (organic UV filters) Goodal (inorganic UV filters) Cell Fusion C (hybrid UV filters) It had a texture and application exactly between organic filters (lightest, most absorbing texture) and inorganic filters (heavier texture with noticeable oil content). It absorbs adequately while leaving moisture, making it great for use before makeup or on bare skin. I also loved the lack of white cast! Though it was popular, I'd never bought it myself before, but after using it I can see why so many people purchase it. If I don't have any blemish issues with continued use, I'd like to make this my go-to base product!
