🧡Strengths - Formulation - It has a slightly milky viscous toner in ampoule form. The cotton pads are also soft and fluffy. In the morning, I put them in the refrigerator, then take out one pad to wipe my skin after cleansing. I take out two more pads and apply them to my cheeks. While drying my hair with a hair dryer, I remove the pads and apply a lotion. Personally, I have combination skin that is prone to dehydration. This is a great pad for providing moisture and hydration. The formula is similar to a cream pad. I would personally recommend this for dry skin types.

There was some separation of the formula when I first used it. The pad is extremely soft, so it's gentle on the skin, but if you scrub too hard, it can pill a little. Oh, and the tweezers are a bit flimsy and got bent.
Tip

I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and purchased the product even before writing the review. The pads were a bit pricey, so I searched for the lowest price and ended up buying 2 boxes along with 2 additional Illuminiel ampoules. These are more like lotion/essence pads rather than toner pads. I'm using them as an absorbent rather than a toner. Not only do they provide great hydration, but my skin texture also seems to be improving. I plan to continue using them regularly.
Cons
The cap was really difficult to open when I first tried the product, and it ended up slightly cutting my hand. The hydration lasts well, but I wish there was an easier way to access the pads.
Tip
This pad seems to work better in the evenings than in the mornings.

The ampoule contained in the product has a lotion-like texture. It was a moisturizing lotion that didn't run. And there was a lot of ampoule in the product. The pad was fully soaked, and there was even a lot of excess at the bottom. When I first opened it, the ampoule was clumped together quite a bit, so I flipped about half of it over to use. The thin, moist pad adhered well to the skin like a pack. It had a cooling and soothing effect. And since it seemed to have an exfoliating effect, my skin felt very soft after using it. After using the pad, it absorbed quickly with just a light patting. I didn't feel like there was any lack in the functional aspects, aside from the fragrance.

I have combination skin and lately it's been too dry, so when I put on makeup, it looks flaky and my skin looks cracked, which has been stressing me out. The square pad is not that small either, so I can just place it on my face and do something else for a bit, then take it off - it leaves my skin so moisturized. The makeup also applies really nicely on top, and even without makeup, using the pad to hydrate my skin before bed makes my face feel so soft and supple when I wake up!

The clip doesn't seem to stay on the pad very well, but if the pad is this good, I guess that's okay. (It might also be that I'm just not very good at securing it...)

It was really great! The skin texture feels nicely refined, and when I apply it on my face for a short while, it absorbs well and keeps it moisturized. It's not irritating at all, and I really liked it!
