Wow! This is just an amazing product! It really defines the jawline perfectly - it's like magic! It even makes your nose look more sculpted. I'm absolutely blown away! What's fantastic about it is that there's minimal excess powder and the particles are slightly heavier, so it feels like it adheres well to the skin. It's just an incredible sensation! I can't express how much I love it! And the value for money is unbeatable! The grayish shade seems suitable for cool tones, but the yellowish contour color next to it has a slight warm undertone. That's a bit disappointing. Because of that, I don't reach for that part as much. Still, it's a good product overall! It's great for creating aegyo-sal (cute eye bags) with a thin, flat brush. And if you use a 2:1 ratio of the gray and brown shades for contouring your nose, it's absolutely heavenly, everyone! - je*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
For a Daiso product, it's surprisingly good! I'm quite pleased with it. There's a bit too much excess powder flying around, unfortunately. It would be great if not for that issue. I keep feeling like the powder is getting into my respiratory system, which is rather unpleasant. - ji*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 1, 2025
I thought it would be mediocre because of the low price, but it's surprisingly fantastic - highly recommended! The color payoff is great too~ There's a lot of excess powder. It crumbles easily, unfortunately... - th*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedMay 27, 2025
When it comes to contouring, Too Cool For School is the go-to brand. Tag is their budget-friendly line from Too Cool. ✓ It blends naturally for a subtle color ✓ The price is unbeatable. Being able to buy makeup for just $5 in this day and age - we're so grateful to Daiso! ✗ Excess powder? Sure, there's some, but that's normal for powder products, so it's not really a drawback. The brush I use is from TWODIT. They work great together. - cb*****Combination SkinDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsMay 19, 2025
I'm not really sure about anything other than good value for money. If your skin is extremely white, it might be okay. The pigmentation is weak, and even after applying several layers, the difference is barely noticeable, with excessive powder fallout. Honestly, I would recommend not purchasing this. - sh*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 11, 2025
Wow, the value for money is really great! I heard it was similar to Etude's shading but a more affordable version, so I bought it thinking I might as well give it a try. It exceeded my expectations! I use this Tag shading after my Etude shading stick for a natural nose contour, and it's also great for jaw contouring! There's a bit of excess powder, so you need to tap it off well before using. - 01**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 9, 2025
The color payoff feels naturally buildable. I found it works amazingly well when paired with the contouring brush also sold at Daiso for jaw contouring. The staying power is surprisingly good - it lasts quite a while (well, contouring usually does unless you really go heavy-handed... haha). For best results, try mixing the lighter and darker shades. It's a bit disappointing for nose contouring though. How to explain... I'm not sure if it's because my nose is quite flat, but it feels like nothing much happens even after application? For jaw contouring, you can just swipe it on generously, but for the nose, it tends to clump a bit when you try to blend it out, which was a letdown. After applying your base and setting it with a makeup fixer, try sweeping the product along your jawline and diagonal jaw area with a sculpting motion for best results. - im**************Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 5, 2025
I think this would work well for everyone, from those who prefer a subtle look to those who like it super cool. Using shade 21 as a reference, you can achieve a perfectly natural contouring effect. At first, I was a bit worried it might be too gray, but as I used it, I realized it creates a truly natural shadow color. On the positive side, the color payoff is natural, but those who prefer heavier makeup might find it a bit inconvenient as it doesn't show up as intensely. The color payoff was lighter than I expected, which was a bit disappointing as I had to apply multiple layers. You can create a beautifully subtle yet effective eye makeup look by using this for contouring. The result is very soft and natural, but the shading effect is definitely noticeable. - ji*******Dehydrated SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2025
This product is a real bargain for its price. The color payoff isn't too intense, making it perfect for practicing contouring. Once you've mastered the technique, you can move on to pricier options. It's especially great for beginners like me who are still learning the ropes. There's a bit of excess powder fallout. It's best to tap the brush before applying. This is ideal for contouring novices to practice with. You can experiment with different intensities, from subtle to more dramatic, to get a feel for base contouring. Later, invest in a higher-quality contour product for going out. The affordable price makes it perfect for practice, especially for those of us who are still developing our skills. - jj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 22, 2025
Just a great cost-performance ratio shading The products with the Daiso tag seem to be generally not bad! This one also seems to be just right in terms of cost-performance ratio and shading I gave it 4 points because it doesn't seem to be lacking anywhere as a shading 5,000 won for spreadability, pigmentation, and quantity - an unbeatable cost-performance ratio... Honestly, it's not that the product quality itself is incredibly good, but rather the 'price' aspect! But it doesn't fall short even when compared to other companies' products •Color Mono Cool | I used the cool-toned color When I tested the colors at Daiso, the warm-toned ones felt too yellow, so I think getting the Mono Cool is much better, excluding the Power Warm tone #Ash Gray Honestly, just looking at the color, it's just gray, so it's hard to use, but mixing it with cool brown makes it better If you're cool-toned, you'll probably be able to use it just fine If you like shading with a bit of greyness and prefer desaturated colors, you can use this The warm-toned one is hard to use... #Cool Brown This isn't 100% cool, as there is quite a bit of reddish undertone, so cool-toned people might find it slightly warm But I think it can be used well regardless of warm or cool, even up to neutral •Pigmentation/Spreadability The pigmentation is not bad either! It's pretty similar to high-end drugstore shading products But the color comes out much lighter than it looks It spreads well and applies naturally without being too heavy when using your hands, but it comes out lighter when using a brush It's just good if your wallet is tight or if you want to use it for touch-ups The size is also small, so it's good to carry around It's a dual-shading product, but it's a bit inconvenient that the compartments are separated, making it a bit difficult to mix. The application is good, but there's quite a bit of powder fallout. It's quite severe when using a brush.🥲
