The color payoff and shade quality are far beyond what you'd expect for a $5 product. Plus, the amount you get is quite generous, which is fantastic. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, but considering the price, it's not excessive. However, the staying power is somewhat on the weaker side. Overall, this product offers great value for money, with impressive pigmentation and quantity. While there are minor issues with powder fallout and longevity, they're reasonable given the affordable price point. - ry******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I absolutely love the color! It looks so natural, just like real skin, and the pigmentation is excellent. I'm definitely repurchasing when I run out. I also bought a shading brush from Daiso, and it works amazingly well with this product. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, and the shade is only suitable for nose contouring. Get yourself the 2000 won Daiso-branded shading brush. It's fantastic with this product! - si***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 17, 2025
I don't have much money, but I needed shading, so I bought it. It turned out to be better than expected - the application is smooth, and I think it's on par with other companies' products. I haven't tried many different types of shading, so I'm not sure, but it seems like there are almost no downsides. - si****Combination SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2025
It's great that it's easy to use. I'd recommend this Daiso product especially for those with warm complexions. I don't recommend it because powder flies everywhere when applying with a brush. After application, powder residue settles around the edges. - bi***********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 26, 2025
The Taag Dual Multi Shading 01 has a neutral tone without any yellow or red undertones, making it perfect even for my cool-toned skin. Unlike other contouring products that often look muddy or sit on top of the skin, this one blends seamlessly like a natural shadow, defining my facial features beautifully. I especially love how it's divided into two colors, allowing me to adjust the intensity for different areas like nose contouring and jawline definition. The fine, smooth texture applies evenly without patchiness, making it user-friendly even for beginners. I'm also impressed with its longevity - it stays put from application to the end of the day without any smudging, even around the ears! If I had to point out a downside, it's that the pigmentation is quite intense. For the best results, it's better to build up the color gradually rather than applying it all at once. Also, it doesn't come with a built-in brush, so if you're looking for precise application, you might want to use a separate contouring brush. I found it more suitable for defining central facial features rather than contouring larger areas of the face. - js*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2025
Hey, wait a minute! I'm super cool-toned, so why doesn't this look bad on me? Explain yourself! It's not overly warm, more like neutral with a hint of warmth - like adding 5 drops of warmth to the mix. There's less excess powder, and honestly, it's not that different from the Too Cool For School contour. If you're on a budget, go for it! If you have fair skin, be careful - this might make you look like you're ready for retirement. Proceed with caution! - an*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 12, 2025
Can you believe Daiso is selling contouring products?! And for just $5! In two shades, no less! All the contour products I've bought before were so expensive, but this feels like a godsend. It's not much different from other brand contours! Contouring is a must, and I love using the lighter shade for the nose bridge and the darker one for the jawline. It's just perfect! I think this will last me for years! There aren't really any downsides, but if I had to pick one... there's a bit of excess powder fallout. - qu*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 7, 2025
The biggest charm of this product is its value for money! Besides that, it has a subtle color payoff that's great for beginners. With two shades, you can blend them back and forth with a brush for a nice effect. It looks intense, but once applied, it's actually quite wearable! It's similar to Too Cool For School. (If you find this too dark, try shade #2) There is some excess powder, but that's unavoidable with brush-on shading products. It's like searching for a rare Pokemon - you can scour every Daiso in your neighborhood and still not find it. I had to go all the way to Seoul to buy it (I guess its popularity is a good thing?!?!) - ph***********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
This product is seriously amazing! As a broke student, I found the Olive Young shading a bit pricey, but Daiso's version is so affordable at just 5,000 won! As you can see in the photo below, I've used it a ton. The amount you get is incredible - I've been using it for over a year now! The color payoff is great for contouring my jawline and nose. On lazy days, I even use it to add some depth to my eyes! The excess powder fallout is... really bad. When I use a brush, powder gets everywhere - on my clothes, my pants. It's quite inconvenient. - le*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
Great value for money and the color payoff is excellent! The staying power is impressive too. Absolute miss for cool skin tones! It makes you look way too warm. Also, there's a bit of excess powder fallout, unfortunately.
