There was a bit of a skin trouble.
Likely, it's because my skin becomes more sensitive during seasonal changes....

I received it as a birthday gift at the end of March and tried it out, and it wasn't too greasy and was very moisturizing! And the application was also good!
However, since my face is particularly sensitive during the seasonal changes, I get hives, so I think I'll have to use it in the winter!! Since it's a night type, I used it on areas that tend to be drier, like under the eyes and the laugh lines.

As needed, it can also be applied to the neck area.

There were no troubles, the usage experience was good, and there were no disappointments whatsoever!

I've tried a few different types of stick balms, and personally, I found the Kiehl's products to be the best fit and most effective.
The feel is definitely more moisturizing than oily, and it leaves a dewy finish.
Just a light application on dry areas like the eye contour and laugh lines is all it takes. It's all great, but I found it gets used up faster than expected! The wonderful feel of it has me reapplying it multiple times a day, which seems to make it run out quicker.

Hwahae is not a filling formulation, so it is best to use it as the final step in your skincare routine.

Considering that it is somewhat oily, I would recommend lighter products for those with combination skin.

It has a surprisingly sturdy capacity.
It is often used for touch-ups, or around the mouth area after brushing teeth.
As it has no particular scent, it is suitable for those sensitive to fragrances.

The amount feels small compared to the price, and it gets used up much faster than expected.

I was surprised to see that the Hwahae stick balm smoothed out the wrinkles on my forehead so neatly after I had applied foundation on them. I also have a keyring that I hang on my bag, and I can just rub it over the area that needs correction and lightly dab it to absorb it, then apply corrective makeup right on top. It's great for using at night instead of a mist when my skin feels dry, as it has a cooling sensation that feels nice.

When applying makeup, areas that often become dry can benefit from a light application.

This is because my skin is very sensitive,
to the point where I only use baby shampoo.
Other skin types may be fine, though!

My skin type is seborrheic dermatitis and atopic dermatitis.
If the ingredients are not good, I immediately get red rashes.
My skin is so sensitive that it causes itching.
My skin is also quite dry inside, so mists and moisture sticks are essential for me!

I was a bit concerned about one of the ingredients, but the Kiehl's Moisture Stick Balm was gentle.

When I do touch-ups, I lightly wipe with a tissue and then apply the stick balm before putting on the cushion foundation. This makes my skin look just as dewy as when I first applied my makeup.
I've tried other moisture stick balms, but none of them were able to address my internal dryness.
However, this stick balm glides on nicely without feeling too dry.
I also like to apply it lightly to areas that tend to get dry, like around my mouth and eyes, before doing my base makeup.

Due to the stick-type design, with repeated use, cosmetics and other products may tend to accumulate on the application surface.

It seems good to apply a moisturizer on top of makeup instead of a base cream.

That said, the product can only be used when it's a bare-faced~sunscreen, which is an unavoidable limitation, and this is the most disappointing part.
The material is quite fragile, so if you dispense and apply too much, especially around the edges, it's prone to crumbling and breaking easily...The reason it's thicker than typical stick-type products is likely to prevent it from breaking, as it's a bit awkward to store.
You really have to gently dispense just the right amount and apply it lightly for it to adhere well to the skin!!

I often have to take flights, and the cabin is just so incredibly dry... Even though my skin is already on the dry side, long flights leave my skin feeling cracked and parched. Bringing creams every time is a bit of a hassle, so I've really been struggling with this issue.
But after using this product, I've found the solution! It's shaped like a glue stick, and when you apply it, your skin feels so moisturized and soothed...
I also bought the caterpillar(?) shaped keyring case that glows in the dark, and it's been so helpful. When I'm dozing off in the dark cabin, I don't have to fumble around in my bag to find it - I can just grab it right away! It's super cute to have attached to my bag too.

You can only use it when applying sunscreen. It's a bit difficult to apply after makeup.
