This hydrating stick is my constant companion, and among all the products I've used, it has the best absorption by far. While Kiehl's moisturizer usually works well for me, which is why I bought this, the price is a bit steep considering the amount you get. It's great for applying to areas that tend to get dry frequently, like around the eyes and smile lines, to keep them hydrated throughout the day. - t5**Normal SkinJun 8, 2025
The stick format makes it convenient and portable. It fits nicely in my makeup pouch. I don't find myself reaching for it often. I'm still figuring out how to incorporate it into my routine. - ke******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 16, 2025
The Hwahae Testers found it to be satisfactory, as it provided sufficient moisture and was convenient to use. Dust accumulation or application after makeup may cause the stick to become contaminated. - wn*********Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 30, 2025
I really love this! As someone with super dry skin, it's so convenient to just swipe it over the parched areas as a final step. It works wonders! I'm not sure what to think. The volume is a bit small, and the keyring packaging seems unnecessary... haha - fl*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2025
I received this as a birthday gift in late March and tried it out. It wasn't too oily and felt wonderfully hydrating! The absorbs was also great! However, my face tends to get super sensitive skin during seasonal changes, causing some hives, so I think I'll need to use it in winter instead. Since it's a balm-type product, I used it on particularly dry areas like under my eyes and nasolabial folds. I did experience some blemishes. I think it might be because my skin tends to become sensitive during seasonal transitions... - ha*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 13, 2025
I've tried several stick balms, but personally, Kiehl's product has been the best fit for me! It definitely feels more hydrating than oily, and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. Just a quick swipe over dry areas like under-eye wrinkles or smile lines, and you're done. Everything about it is great, but I was surprised how quickly I went through it! I think it's because the application is so pleasant that I found myself reapplying several times a day, which probably made it run out faster. No blemishes, great absorption, and honestly, I have no complaints at all! It's also great for applying to neck wrinkles as needed. - ch*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 6, 2025
The volume is more substantial than expected. It's surprisingly handy for touch-ups, or around the mouth after brushing teeth. With no distinct scent, it's great for those with fragrance sensitivities. It's on the richer side, so those with oily skin might prefer a lighter product. The formula doesn't provide deep hydration, so it's best used as the final step in your skincare routine. - 95********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 10, 2025
I was surprised how smoothly it went on when I applied the Kiehl's stick balm over my foundation-covered smile lines and then reapplied cushion on top. It comes with a keyring, so I can dangle it from my bag and easily touch up areas by gently rubbing it in, letting it absorb quickly, and then reapplying makeup. It's also great for lightly applying at night instead of mist when my skin feels dry. The cooling effect is a nice bonus! The amount feels small for the price, and it gets used up faster than expected. - wt*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2025
My skin type is prone to seborrheic dermatitis and atopic conditions. If the ingredients aren't suitable, I immediately develop red rashes and itching. I have super sensitive skin and deep dryness, so mists and hydrating sticks are my must-haves! Although one ingredient gave me pause, the Kiehl's hydrating stick balm was generally gentle on my skin! When touching up my makeup, I lightly wipe with a tissue, apply the stick balm, and then add cushion foundation. It makes my skin look as fresh and dewy as when I first applied makeup! I've tried other hydrating stick balms, but they didn't address my deep dryness at all. This one, however, applies smoothly without feeling particularly drying. It's also great to apply a little bit to frequently dry areas like around the mouth or eyes before doing your base makeup! I did feel a slight tingling sensation! This is because my skin is extremely sensitive - I even have to use only baby shampoo, that's how sensitive it is! Other skin types should be fine with it though! When touching up your makeup, it's good to apply a little bit to areas that tend to get dry frequently. - la************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 19, 2025
It's great for reapplying over makeup instead of using a regular moisturizer. Due to its stick format, with repeated use, makeup and other products might accumulate on the application surface.
