While it doesn't adhere perfectly to the skin, it does a great job of evening out the complexion. It works wonderfully as a brightening moisturizer when applied after regular sunscreen and topped with cushion foundation. Personally, I preferred the cushion foundation. I'd recommend this if you want a light complexion boost on the go. It doesn't absorb as well as I'd like. It feels like it sits on top of the skin. It doesn't pair well with foundation at all! It's great for a light application on days when you're going foundation-free. - lo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
My face tends to get really red, and with summer approaching, it's gotten even worse. So I quickly ordered this product I had saved and started using it. When I applied it to half my face, the difference was noticeable! But when you actually apply it all over, your skin looks even more smooth and even-toned. For areas with severe redness like my chin and cheeks, I applied a thin extra layer. I got quite a shock when I stored the tube upright in my makeup pouch and found the contents had leaked out the side... It seems you really need to lay it flat when carrying it around. For this product, it seems the best coverage is achieved by first establishing a solid skincare base, then applying multiple thin layers. And of course, it helps to cool down your skin during your skincare routine beforehand! - an*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsMay 31, 2025
The only good thing is that you can slap it on quickly in the morning. That's about it... sigh. It feels heavy, cracks terribly, and flakes off. On the nose and around the mouth, it doesn't even last 30 minutes. It's absolutely maddening! Even when I mix it with Jung Saem Mool's water cream or Missha's balm, it still cracks and flakes horribly... - mh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 23, 2024
As someone with oily skin and a yellowish, tanned complexion, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin tone when applying this cushion. It brightens and clarifies my complexion, making it perfect for daily use. Over time, I felt like my skin became oilier. Initially, I experienced some minor blemishes. To avoid white patches, it's best not to apply haphazardly. Instead, gently pat and spread the product evenly in thin layers for optimal results. - ha***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessNov 30, 2024
I bought this a while ago and rediscovered it while decluttering. The name 'Charrok' is pretty. That's about all I can say positively. The packaging is absolutely terrible. I barely used it and left it in my bag, but somehow it dried out completely even though there were no signs of it being opened. The closure isn't a button type, it's just a slight push-in mechanism, which means it opens and closes easily, allowing the cushion to do whatever it wants. Aren't cushions usually meant to be portable? You never know when it might open in your bag. Also, it doesn't cover redness as well as expected. Amelie, how do you define redness? Real redness isn't neutralized by this level of green. This shade of green only works for cute, natural-looking flush. It seems both the color formulation and packaging need to be reworked. My tip is to wait for their next product. I won't tell you not to buy from Amelie since you like the brand, but maybe just wait and see what they come up with next. - xm*******Combination SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 31, 2024
Great for overall color correction. It naturally brightens your complexion. There's slight darkening in the evening, and it barely provides coverage, so I still use concealer on red areas. - rl**********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessSep 7, 2024
I was looking for a cushion foundation suitable for my combination dehydrated skin that wouldn't darken, and this one's great! The staying power was a bit disappointing though. I wish it could be improved. - cx********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedSep 5, 2024
I think this is Amelie's masterpiece. It has just the right cooling effect, and you don't need to be too precise with the amount - it applies beautifully. I love the finish too. People often think of green-based products as being slightly warm and yellowing, but this one has a cool green tone that manages to achieve two things at once, which is great. There's nothing particularly bad about it... Compared to the purple and peach shades, it might be slightly darkening? - th*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedSep 4, 2024
Pros: It's not too matte or too dewy, so it works well for me unless my skin is in really bad condition. Despite being a cool tone, unlike some cushions that can look purplish, this one adheres to the skin beautifully with a nice, bouncy texture! I'm prone to blemishes when using base makeup, but I've never had issues with this one. That's why I'm on my nth compact now! Cons: There aren't any major drawbacks, but if you skimp on skincare beforehand, it definitely shows. After some time, rather than fading gracefully, it tends to get a bit greasy and wear off. It might seem obvious, but patting it in more thoroughly really improves the skin finish! - hu*******Combination SkinJul 24, 2024
Coverage: Effectively neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes. Adherence: Good initial adherence, but skin feels increasingly dry over time. Application: Best applied from highlight areas outwards. Drawbacks: Excessive use can lead to a 'flat face' appearance and dryness. Blemishes: None reported. Recommended for: Reddish complexions. Darkening: Complexion appears increasingly dull over time. Apply a tiny amount to a puff, gently pat on cheekbones and T-zone, then blend outwards towards the edges for a natural finish.
