  Pros

  I found that applying a functional product (without moisturizing properties) + emulsion, and then adding an essence in between, made my pores less noticeable due to the added hydration. That was a pleasant surprise!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, this product didn't agree with my skin. Immediately after application, I felt a tingling and stinging sensation. (Products that suit my skin typically feel comfortable without any noticeable effects.) Then, while my skin surface became excessively oily, I experienced deep dryness. Applying my usual emulsion helped reduce these issues, but without it, my cheeks would become intensely hot with severe redness. The burning sensation was so intense that I had to apply cooling pads to calm my skin down.

  Tip

  Don't expect miracles right away. If you notice a harsh reaction when you first use the product, it's best to discontinue use immediately.

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin and super sensitive skin, I find it hard to use many products. For me, the Goodal Peptide Serum felt more like a light emulsion than a serum. With the right amount, I think I could use it for evening care all year round, except maybe in midsummer. I've been a bit stressed about fine lines on my forehead, but using this serum with my skincare device seems to be more effective! The texture is great - even after 5 minutes of device use, it doesn't feel tacky. Being combination dehydrated, I often use hydrating formulas, which can be tricky with devices. For me, applying this as the last step in my skincare routine before using my device works well. While others found the packaging heavy, I actually like it - it feels luxurious and high-end! The next morning, my forehead looks so smooth and glowy. I'm planning to use up this bottle and then buy it with my own money!

  Cons

  First off, I didn't experience any blemishes, which was my biggest concern! Usually, when a product is too nourishing, I get small, inflamed bumps, but that didn't happen with the Goodal Peptide Serum. However, while it's not overly rich, it does feel a bit more oily than what I'm used to, so I couldn't apply too much. It's not really a problem, just a bit heavy for me... you know?

  To be honest, I used a blotting paper (traditional Korean paper) to very gently remove any excess oil before going to bed.

  Of all the ampoules I've used so far, the biggest drawback was always how sticky they were, making them difficult to apply and absorb. But this product is amazing! It spreads easily like an emulsion without any stickiness! As a result, it absorbs quickly too. I'm not sure about its wrinkle-improving effects yet, but when I apply it before bed, I can see the results when I put on makeup the next day!! My skin texture definitely looks more refined, and my complexion appears much clearer than before! I love achieving that glowy skin look, and previously, my skin's unevenness was quite noticeable. But after using this product, areas that used to look messy due to pores or texture are now much smoother!!

  I had high hopes for this product in terms of wrinkle improvement and pore care, but it didn't have much effect in these areas. However, it did improve my skin texture and brightening. The hydration feels a bit weak for winter use. Also, it seems to have a slight oiliness. I rarely get blemishes, but after applying this, I noticed some small pimples appearing on my chin and nose. It was fine when I followed up with an oil-free cream after using this product.

  Tip

  Since the product itself has a bit of oiliness, it might be best to finish your skincare routine with a product that can provide hydration without adding extra oil!!

  Note: Since this is a wrinkle ampoule, I asked my mother in her 50s to use it on my behalf. She says she loves how rich and concentrated it feels!
