This is a sample of the Peony Mist I received when purchasing. It's meant for sensitive skin types. I got this Peony Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Mist as a free sample when buying the regular mist. After applying it, my face quickly became itchy, and I scratched it until it turned red. As someone with super sensitive skin, it doesn't seem to agree with me. The regular mist was fine, but this one is disappointing.

I decided to buy this after seeing it recommended on YouTube. Of course, it was probably a sponsored video, but still... The product absorbs well and the texture isn't heavy. The packaging feels quite luxurious, and the scent isn't overpowering, which is nice. In my experience, these peptide-based cosmetics seem to be a bit irritating. I felt the same way about the Goodal pack I used alongside this. The disappointing part is that I don't see much skin improvement. It seems that improving skin elasticity through cosmetics alone is unrealistic. As someone in their 50s, I find this ampoule excellent for my needs. It offers both anti-aging and brightening benefits, while maintaining a good balance of oil and moisture. That's why I've placed another order. While it seems perfect for fall and winter use, I think those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich during the summer months.

The hydration and absorption are great, so if you have dry skin, you can use it year-round. I also love that it has a pump dispenser. The container and lid are a bit heavy, and you can't see how much product is left. I wish the pump nozzle was just a tiny bit longer. Perfect for dry skin in winter, it keeps your skin hydrated. I love that it's a functional product too. The bottle is a bit heavy, and I wish it had more hydration. While it feels gentle on the skin, it could use a bit more moisture.

I found that applying a functional product (without moisturizing properties) + emulsion, and then adding an essence in between, made my pores less noticeable due to the added hydration. That was a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately, this product didn't agree with my skin. Immediately after application, I felt a tingling and stinging sensation. (Products that suit my skin typically feel comfortable without any noticeable effects.) Then, while my skin surface became excessively oily, I experienced deep dryness. Applying my usual emulsion helped reduce these issues, but without it, my cheeks would become intensely hot with severe redness. The burning sensation was so intense that I had to apply cooling pads to calm my skin down. Don't expect miracles right away. As someone with sensitive skin, I was pleased that this ampoule didn't cause any irritation. It provided a great balance of hydration and oil, without overwhelming my skin. I have no complaints! I'm just happy to have found a skincare product that works so well for me.
