I first saw an ad for this waterproof cushion on Instagram and decided to give it a try, not expecting much. But wow, it's hands down the best product I've ever bought from an Instagram ad! I was skeptical at first, thinking it couldn't possibly live up to the hype, but the coverage, adherence, and lasting power are the most satisfying I've experienced with any cushion foundation. I'm now on my fourth compact! The shade is similar to other #21 cushions, with a semi-matte finish. As someone who prioritizes coverage and longevity, I'm impressed - it covers everything except large blemishes or scars, and the staying power is remarkable. I barely need touch-ups throughout the day! If you value long-lasting makeup, I absolutely cannot recommend this enough! While most aspects are great, there's a bit of pilling around the philtrum area when applying. However, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells, so it's not a major concern. The price point isn't the cheapest, but I'm so incredibly satisfied that I think I've found my holy grail cushion foundation. The product being discussed appears to be a cushion foundation with excellent waterproof properties, coverage, and longevity. The reviewer is particularly impressed with its performance compared to other cushion foundations they've tried, especially in terms of staying power and coverage. They mention it has a semi-matte finish and is suitable for those who prioritize long-lasting makeup. The shade mentioned (#21) is a common designation in Korean cosmetics for a light to medium skin tone. - co*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 26, 2025
I bought this after seeing an Instagram ad claiming it wouldn't come off even in water, and it's true! It really stays put even when submerged. It's truly revolutionary... The coverage is fantastic and gives you that flawless, glass-skin finish. Even though I have oily skin, it doesn't break down. I went to a water park, got dunked, swam, and went crazy in the water, but it didn't budge. The cushion foundation was the only makeup left on my face! Everyone thinks I just have great skin naturally. The coverage is insane and I love it so much. When applied, it feels heavy and suffocating. While the coverage is great, it tends to go on thick and can clump. It's not extremely thick, but it does feel itchy and uncomfortable. Also, when touching up, it tends to pill. Although it sets well initially, once it starts to come off, it all comes off. I used this for water activities, and if you apply a makeup fixer before and after, as well as spray some on the puff, you'll see incredible staying power - your base makeup will be the last thing standing. - ka******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 5, 2025
I took a chance on this after seeing an Instagram ad, and I was pleasantly surprised. It applies moistly at first, then finishes with a soft, powdery feel. My skin is super prone to reactions, but this didn't cause any issues. The only slight downside is that it doesn't last very long. Honestly, apart from that, I didn't find much to complain about. - am*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
It's affordable with great adherence and decent staying power. While it might not be enough on its own after skincare, it works well for touch-ups over foundation. I switched from another product and loved that it doesn't cake. The best part is you can layer it without it clumping. Considering it's shade 21, it lacks a bright finish. While it looks natural at first, it tends to dull over time, giving a somewhat lackluster appearance. - ha****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 23, 2024
The staying power is top-notch! With other cushions I've used before, my smile lines would always crease badly when I laughed. But this cushion doesn't do that as much, which I really appreciate. It's moisturizing yet feels powdery, giving a somewhat matte finish. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin types. The key is to control the amount you use and make sure you have a solid skincare routine as a base. - jj*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessNov 17, 2024
It feels hydrating when applied, then sets to a matte finish over time. The coverage seems quite good, concealing blemishes effectively. How well it lasts depends on your skincare routine underneath. It doesn't live up to the hype in the ads... I feel a bit misled by the marketing. While it's not terrible, it's not amazing either. The shade is way too dark. Whether it's oxidizing or just naturally dark, using this alone makes your complexion look dull. - y0*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 23, 2024
This is the cushion foundation I'm most satisfied with among all I've tried. It has a semi-matte formula that gives a nice glow while providing good coverage. I'm impressed by its longevity too - even after attending a rainy festival, my base makeup was still intact. Despite its excellent coverage and staying power, it takes a while to set, making it easy to blend. And when it does eventually wear off, it fades more gracefully than other cushions. The coverage isn't quite as high as cushions specifically designed for full coverage, which is slightly disappointing. For best results, I recommend dabbing the puff into the cushion, controlling the amount, then gently pressing and sliding it onto your face. Follow up by patting to blend. This technique helps achieve a thinner application and a more beautiful skin finish! - io************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 18, 2024
It seems decent for summer use, though perhaps not quite as amazing as the ads suggest. The coverage isn't particularly outstanding. It keeps breaking out around my mouth. As for my forehead, it tends to accentuate the fine lines. - kw*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 17, 2024
The fragrance is absolutely divine! The brightening moisturizer gives such a pretty effect! As a cool-toned person, trying a pink-toned cushion for the first time was a revelation. While my complexion has quite a few blemish scars and enlarged pores, the coverage seems to be moderate. The ingredients are quite good. It strikes a nice balance between hydrating and matte. The packaging is sleek and clean. Controlling the amount dispensed was a bit tricky - you need to be careful not to use too much! The effects weren't quite as dramatic as shown in the advertisements, but I'm satisfied with how it adequately fills in the pores. I'm writing this right after trying it for the first time, but I'll update if I notice any skin issues. I've repurchased this because it doesn't cause any blemishes at all. I'll be sticking with this from now on! Don't forget to use it with a concealer! (I use MediCube in shade 21) - ew****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 14, 2024
It's alright, I guess. Just so-so. Not quite what I expected, but not bad. Most cushion foundations include sun protection, so it's a bit disappointing that this one doesn't.
