The color payoff is great and it's exactly the shade I wanted - I'm really happy with it! The texture is so soft and smooth, making it easy to apply. It's not just great for lips, but works wonderfully as a cheek tint too! The packaging is adorably cute as well! The only slight inconvenience is having to clean your fingers each time you apply it with them. The color can be quite intense if you apply it directly from your fingers to your cheeks. For a more natural look, I recommend applying it to your lips first, then using the remaining product to gently pat onto your cheeks. This gives a beautifully subtle flush! - am*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2024
The color itself is absolutely gorgeous. I love how the formula creates a beautifully blurred effect. The stick format makes it a bit inconvenient to use when I'm out and about. - mj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2024
Recommended Personal Color: Summer Cool Light to Mute Design: Honestly, I bought this product because the design caught my eye - it's just so beautiful! The glossy cap is gorgeous, and the color selection is so pretty, I couldn't resist purchasing it. Texture: This texture was a first for me, and it's quite fascinating. It's incredibly soft and fluffy, making it a joy to apply and smudge out. Color Range: 3CE has really outdone themselves this time. With an impressive 30 shades, there's not a single color I'd pass on. I'm tempted to buy the entire collection! Price: Many people have mentioned the price, so I'm including it in the drawbacks. However, personally, I don't think the price point is unreasonable. - by*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
At first, I was tempted to buy Without or My, but after some thought, I realized it would be more versatile to get a darker shade similar to the lighter first line colors. This way, I could apply it lightly or heavily - two birds with one stone! So I bought PK05 STH Something and Film, which have the most similar tones. Something actually matches Without's tone! I can apply it lightly on the outer part for a Without look, and more intensely on the inner part (or use RS05 Film for an even deeper color). True to its 'pudding' name, it really feels like touching pudding. It's incredibly soft and lightweight, doesn't emphasize dead skin cells or fine lines, and is gentle on the lips. It also works perfectly as a blush! The texture is creamy without being sticky or greasy, making it easy to add color all over the face. Being a cream formula, you can easily control the amount you apply. (Warning: Be careful with the amount - a little too much and you might end up looking like a carrot!) (Note: The photo shows some retinol side effects around the mouth area) - While the texture necessitates a jar packaging, it's a bit unhygienic to apply with fingers. The container is quite large for carrying around - it bulges in pockets! In a bag, being a glass pot, it makes a clinking noise against iPads or laptops, which can be annoying when walking. (Decanting into a keyring container might be less cumbersome) - The staying power is a bit disappointing. It's the kind of cream formula that you can tell won't last long just by applying it. (But why do I keep reaching for it? That's why I'm giving it 5 stars! Maybe because it's so easy to apply and feels so light?) To improve longevity, try applying powder, then reapplying the product on top. After finishing your base makeup, you can quickly swipe this product on your cheeks, around the eyes, nose, and chin. Then just add eyeliner and mascara - it's so convenient! - hp********Dry SkinDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 3, 2024
For reference, I have light undertone in shade 21. I use a pink-based foundation and apply makeup lightly regardless of my personal color. Being light-toned, I find that high saturation colors don't suit me, so I apply neutral-cool tones lightly for accent colors. While warm-neutral shades can work, orange and yellow don't suit me at all. (I never use warm-toned base products!) I usually layer 2-3 lip colors when doing my makeup. This swatch is on bare lips, applied lightly! I tried these three shades from the Cherry Something Slay line. (My original choice was sold out, so these are alternatives.) The product comes in a jar, and the case is a bit heavy. It's not ideal for carrying multiple shades in your bag - it might get too heavy! The texture is very powdery. When swatched on the hand, it shows some creasing due to fine lines. However, it doesn't crease much on the lips and applies very smoothly. (I haven't tested the longevity yet, but plan to do so later.) Cherry -> This was the shade I expected least from, but it turned out to be a beautiful point lip color for light undertones. It applies with a clear, bright finish and ended up being my favorite. Recommended for Summer Light and Bright (including Winter) complexions! Something -> It's a muted pink with a hint of brown. I think it would suit a more sophisticated makeup look. Summer Mute complexions might look great with a more intense application of this shade. Slay -> It's like a grape color mixed with brown and gray. However, since I applied it lightly, that nuance doesn't show up well in the photo. I think it would suit Mute complexions well! With a more intense application, it could work great for Winter Deep and Dark complexions. I didn't include photos of it as a blush because I applied it without other makeup and used very little, so there wasn't much visible difference in the photos. (Only I could tell the difference!) I'll update on the longevity of it as a blush later. Despite the hype and sellouts on YouTube and the official site, I was half skeptical, half excited. But for a matte, powdery product, it's quite good! I plan to buy the originally intended shades when they're back in stock. The downside is that the container is heavy, and being in a jar form, you need to apply it with your fingers or a tool. Applying with fingers leaves a lot of staining, and having to carry a tool around can be a bit inconvenient. When using as a blush, make sure to blend it out lightly! If you apply too much, the color becomes intense and your cheeks will stand out too much.
