The color is absolutely gorgeous. When used as a blush on the cheeks, it blends beautifully for a soft, diffused look. Applied to the lips, it creates a naturally pretty effect. It's tricky to control the amount. As someone with a dark warm complexion, I use this for both blush and lip base when touching up my makeup. It's easy to control the amount, and I love how it adds just the right accent. It's not particularly drying, and when used as a lip base, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells, which is great. It creates such a beautifully blurred, soft-focus effect! I've always been a fan of rose shades, so I'm collecting the entire rose color line. Compared to the film version, this one has a slightly warmer rose tone. The price point seems a bit steep for what it offers. The packaging is also awkwardly bulky, making storage a bit of a hassle.
