Due to the high concentration of turmeric root extract, it has a scent reminiscent of herbal medicine or medicinal plants. When massaged, it produces a small amount of lather. - User Experience: I appreciate that it can be used before shampooing or as a shampoo alternative. It lathers up when massaged into the scalp. While it's recommended to use 2-3 times a week for dry scalps and 3-5 times for oily scalps, I've been using it once a week. This brand also has a tea tree product, and while this one is less tingly, it still provides a significant cooling sensation. It feels more refreshing and cooling than regular cooling shampoos, which seems great for soothing scalp heat. I like that my hair doesn't feel dry after use. Post-use, my scalp feels less itchy, as if I've had a professional scalp treatment. The product seems like it might run out quickly, but I'm willing to repurchase.
ConsIt stings if it gets in your eyes, so be careful to avoid eye contact.
