I absolutely adore water tints and have been using them exclusively even in my 20s. While dryness was always a drawback, this product isn't nearly as drying. The color creates that natural reddish lip I've been seeking - it's perfect on my lips. It's neither too warm nor too cool (though this may vary depending on your natural lip color). As for staining, it leaves a tint that's true to the initial color when applied.
ConsThe scent is quite unpleasant - somewhere between rice wine and floral, but not in a good way. Unfortunately, it lingers all day after application. The taste is equally off-putting. Every time I open and close my mouth, I get a whiff of that strange scent as a flavor. It's even distracting when eating. As for staying power, even without eating anything, I find it fades from the outer lips, leaving only the inner part stained after being out and about.

I was amazed at how intensely it shows up. It absorbs quickly when applied thinly, so you need to work fast. I thought all lip treatments would have weak pigmentation, but this one exceeded my expectations. (The photo shows the result after multiple applications) I didn't formally test the longevity, but when I tried to remove it lightly with foam cleanser, it didn't come off easily. I had to wipe a few times to get it off. - Application Initially, it feels like a water-gel tint. The texture reminds me of the early Etude Dear Darling tints - it applies smoothly and moisturizing, then settles comfortably on the lips. If you're expecting a typical lip treatment, you might be surprised by how quickly it stains the lips.
Cons- Scent It has a floral petal-like fragrance. While not artificial, it's not personally to my taste. - Staining The fact that it sets so well on the lips can be a drawback for those with dry, flaky lips. When I tested it, I had some dead skin cells on my lips. Even after lightly exfoliating, the color still clung to the dry patches, which was a bit disappointing. Also, I was surprised that it stained my fingers quite easily when blending. Personally, I felt it was slightly drying, but I'd need to use it more to be sure.
TipI recommend those with flaky lips to exfoliate before using this product! Since I prefer a glossy finish, I found that applying a lip gloss after it sets works well. The color is so pretty that I think applying this product thinly and topping it with a gloss would create a beautiful lip look. In the photos, I applied it heavily to show the color payoff.
