While I can usually use any shampoo, I have a scalp that periodically sheds dead skin cells, requiring regular care. 1. Shampoo + Vinegar in One! I used to have a multi-step process using shampoo and a separate vinegar-infused scalp treatment. It was time-consuming and expensive. This product combines both in one, which is fantastic! The shampoo thoroughly cleanses my scalp while providing the same benefits as vinegar-infused products. It's been working great for me. 2. Effective + Moisturizing While addressing scalp issues is crucial, I also have dry hair that needs extra care. This product keeps my hair moisturized with just one step, eliminating the need for additional hair oil. 3. Great Lather! Even if a product has good ingredients, it's disappointing when it doesn't lather well. This shampoo lathers nicely, moisturizes, and cares for my scalp. It's perfect for my frequently colored and permed curly hair. 4. Packaging The packaging is stylish! I'm really satisfied with this aspect. Usually, functional products come in old-fashioned packaging, but this one is pretty enough to display in the bathroom, even if no one else sees it!
ConsScent This could be seen as both a pro and a con. Instead of a floral or subtle pleasant fragrance, it has a strong citrusy grapefruit scent. It seems to focus more on the cleansing aspect, so if fragrance is important to you, this might not be the best choice.
TipThe quantity is a bit small for the price. As someone with long hair, I found this particularly noticeable. However, since it's a functional product, using it two or three times a week was enough to see significant results.

Hair: My scalp is oily with excess sebum, and my hair is extremely damaged from coloring and perming. I used the product from The Hwahae Testers daily for two weeks after receiving it. - It's great that I can gently shampoo with soft foam without abrasive particles, as I know scalp exfoliation is important for preventing hair loss! - The refreshing sensation is perfect for those with oily scalps. - Though it looks like a small amount, it seems it will last longer than expected. - There's definitely a feeling of a cleaner scalp after use. - Being a protein shampoo, it seems to add some volume to the roots after use. However, it doesn't look obviously styled like after blow-drying.
Cons- It's inconvenient that it's not a pump bottle. When I try to get more product, foam gets all over the bottle. - It doesn't lather much. When I try to add water to create more foam, it seems to disappear instead, making it time-consuming to lather up. This means I avoid using it in the morning rush. - Personal preference, but the scent isn't the fresh grapefruit I expected. It's more like grapefruit mixed with a medicinal smell, reminiscent of cough syrup or ibuprofen syrup with a grapefruit twist. - While it gives a cooling sensation on the scalp and has a warming effect like a pain relief patch when wet, it can sting if it gets in your eyes or on your face. Use with caution. - The shampoo seems more focused on the scalp than the hair, leaving damaged hair feeling very dry.

While it's tough to completely eliminate dead skin cells on the scalp with shampoo alone, using it with a scalp brush was perfect. The sensation on the scalp was moisturizing and didn't feel overly cleansed, so my scalp stayed comfortable without drying out. Though there weren't any dramatic changes, I got the feeling that long-term use would be beneficial for both the scalp and hair. However, the thin consistency might be polarizing for some users.
ConsI've been using scalp-focused shampoos for about 6-7 years, and this one produces the least amount of lather by far. It was surprising at first. However, when using a scalp brush, the reduced lather actually worked in its favor, not interfering with the brushing process. While others mentioned a citrus scent, to my nose it smelled somewhat medicinal? Like an artificial scent mixed with a sulfuric odor, which I didn't particularly enjoy. There was no lingering scent after rinsing, and since I don't prioritize fragrance much, it didn't significantly impact my usage.
TipThis shampoo works great with a scalp brush. After applying enough shampoo to the scalp, gently massaging with a shampoo brush is excellent for addressing dead skin cells on the scalp!

I've noticed much less itchiness on my scalp, which is great. I'm quite satisfied with this shampoo and continue to use it. I also like that the formula has a nice, fluid consistency that's easy to work with!
ConsOne downside is the scent - it has a somewhat artificial fragrance that isn't particularly pleasant. I think I would have preferred if it were unscented. Also, the packaging isn't a pump style, which makes it a bit inconvenient when washing my hair. And the lather isn't very rich, so I usually end up using it twice to get enough foam. Despite these issues, I'm still using it with a fair amount of satisfaction.

Since it contains sulfur, which is said to be beneficial for the scalp, I think it might be good for preventing hair loss.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that the lather isn't very rich. While it cleanses well, it leaves my hair feeling slightly stiff. The scent is like orange syrup, but it also has a medicinal smell that can be a bit overwhelming.

First off, I loved how thoroughly clean it left my hair feeling - squeaky clean without leaving it dry or straw-like afterwards. (I intentionally skipped conditioner to test this.) The lather was rich, and despite being a sulfur product, the scent wasn't overpowering or unpleasant, which was a pleasant surprise!
ConsThe shampoo bottle... it would have been more convenient if it had a pump dispenser. It was a bit awkward to squeeze out the product while my hair was wet. As for the fragrance, while I found it okay, it might be polarizing. The scent was somewhat artificial and quite strong!

It's not a pump type, which is great for using every last drop by flipping it upside down when it's almost empty. ✓ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: For my slightly wavy, damaged hair that usually gets frizzy and static without treatment, this shampoo leaves it soft and manageable even without additional products. ✓ Despite having a typically sensitive scalp, I experienced no blemishes or irritation while using this product. Overall impression: It really feels like you're using a healthy shampoo!
Cons✓ Consistency: The formula is quite runny, which makes it a bit tricky to control the amount as it tends to drip when squeezed out. ✓ Scent: It has a somewhat citrusy scent, but personally, it reminds me of dish soap, which I'm not a fan of! It's less about having fragranced hair and more about feeling like you're washing your hair in a healthy way.
TipCompared to shampoos specifically for oily hair, this one might lead to slightly faster oil build-up. So don't rinse it off immediately after applying. It's a great choice for those with sensitive scalps looking for a healthy shampoo option.

It doesn't leave the hair greasy throughout the day, and the cleansing effectiveness feels good. - Thanks to the sulfur content that helps produce keratin protein essential for the scalp, my hair feels stronger and healthier. My scalp tends to be super sensitive skin and isn't in the best condition, but I've been using this without any special issues.
Cons- The container has a cap that needs to be opened and closed, not a pump. It was a bit inconvenient on busy mornings, but generally fine. - They claim it has a fresh and cool scent with grapefruit, limonene, and menthol, but to me, it smells like medicine (syrup)? I sense a somewhat heavy fragrance. I wonder if it's the sulfur scent, but after washing, it doesn't linger at all and feels clean.
TipRecommend using with a scalp brush.

Cons- The packaging. You have to lift the whole bottle to squeeze it out. If there's no pump, I think it should've been thinner and longer to fit in one hand. Wish the nozzle was a bit longer to prevent dripping. Still, the liquid consistency makes it easy to dispense. - It comes out in gushes, making it hard to control the amount. - Smells like 'children's strawberry flavored cough syrup'. Biggest turn-off. - Doesn't lather well. Residue remains after pre-shampooing. - Didn't see any effects on hair texture.

Although I haven't used it long-term yet, I think it'll be even more effective with continued use.
ConsFirst off, it's supposed to be grapefruit scented... There is a hint of grapefruit, but it's artificial. It also has a medicinal smell and a sour odor. It's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, and for me, it's a strong dislike. Additionally, the formula is quite thin, so it runs easily and doesn't lather well. Considering how much you need to use, I think it'll run out quickly. I wish it came with a pump dispenser.
