  Safe for sensitive and blemish-prone skin As expected from Unique, the gentle ingredients make it suitable for sensitive or blemish-prone skin without causing concern. I experienced almost no irritation, and it absorbs quickly without any stickiness, making it perfect as a nightly serum in your daily routine. Improved skin texture While I'm not sure if my dark spots have faded, perhaps due to its serum-type Vitamin C formula, my skin texture feels softer than before I started using it.

  Difficult to notice visible effects As someone with naturally fair skin, I couldn't really tell if my complexion became brighter. More importantly, I didn't notice much improvement in fading freckles and other dark spots, which was my main concern.

  The transparent serum formula is great! I've heard that the yellow color of vitamin C is actually due to oxidation, so it's nice that this product doesn't seem to use any artificial coloring. Maybe that's why it doesn't cause any irritation at all! When applied, there's a slight sticky feeling, but it's not unpleasant. It provides hydration while leaving just enough richness to prevent moisture loss. I have combination dehydrated skin that leans towards oily, and I'm still using it well these days. After using it consistently for about 10 days, it's subtle but I think some of my faint blemishes have slightly faded! I plan to keep using it more consistently. So far, I'm very satisfied with the results!

  As I get older and notice more blemishes and dark spots, I've become increasingly interested in brightening products and tend to try various options. First off, this feels gentler than other brightening products when you first apply it! It's colorless, fragrance-free, and odorless~ Many brightening products with high vitamin C content can cause a burning sensation, but this one feels more like a soothing hydrating essence, which I really appreciate. It also contains 4% niacinamide, a water-soluble vitamin proven effective for brightening, so I used it with confidence. The pump bottle makes it super convenient to use~ I was previously using a dermatologist-recommended cream with similar ingredients, but the Biome Vita C Dark Spot Serum seems even better as it has a similar composition in a gel-type formulation.

  Cons

  While there's no reason to avoid it or any issues with blemishes, I think the claim of seeing results in just 3 days is a bit exaggerated. It's unlikely to expect noticeable effects in such a short time from any skincare product alone.

  Tip

  Before using this product, I prep my skin by cleansing with toner on a cotton pad twice to refine my skin texture, then thoroughly hydrate. Afterwards, I apply this product, pumping it two or three times to ensure ample coverage. I pat it in well to aid absorption, then follow up with a generous layer of moisturizer.
