  During seasonal changes when our skin easily becomes super sensitive, we absolutely need a product that provides gentle, hydrating care without irritation - and Cosrx's Panthenol Barrier Emulsion is exactly that kind of product. First off, it absorbs beautifully. While it feels slightly creamy on the back of your hand, it spreads like water on your skin, absorbing without any stickiness. Its quick absorption makes it great for layering, and it doesn't cause pilling under makeup, so I use it comfortably both morning and night. The most noticeable benefit, likely due to its high panthenol content, is how quickly it calms sensitive, reddened skin. I often get redness on the sides of my cheeks, but since using this product, that irritation has significantly decreased. Plus, with ceramides and madecassoside, you can really feel your skin barrier becoming visibly stronger. I used to get dry right after cleansing, but now I can feel the deep hydration all the way into my skin.   I purchased this through Hwahae shopping and have been using it. (Expires on 27.09.05) I was looking for a new product because the price of my previous emulsion skyrocketed. I found this one, which is reasonably priced and gentle on the skin. Although it's an emulsion, it has a slight richness to it. Just enough to prevent moisture loss. For me (combination + dry skin), it stays on my face even after 3 hours, but for my daughter (combination + dry + forehead bumps), it absorbs well, leaving just a slight protective layer. I think it's better than my previous emulsion because it feels more hydrating.

  Cons

  When applying, you can feel a bit of richness which might make it feel slightly sticky. I suppose that's unavoidable for hydration. It's not thick or heavy though. Maybe I'm noticing this more because my previous emulsion absorbed instantly when applied.

  Tip

  I think in summer, using this alone could give the effect of having applied a full moisturizer.
