There weren't any major downsides, but I'm puzzled about why it pills on my cheeks.

First off, the first two photos show my makeup after using this product. Both were taken well over 8 hours after application. The third photo is without using the product, and the fourth is my bare skin.

What I loved most about this product is that it doesn't settle into my smile lines. That's usually my biggest stress! Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but while it doesn't cause pilling around my nose and surrounding pores when I apply makeup, it tends to ball up on my cheeks... So I can't apply it there. If anyone knows why, please let me know in the comments! The staying power seems good too. I was considering the original version, but it was too big, so I went for the green one that comes in a smaller size.
At first, I applied it with a spatula, but then got lazy and started using my fingers to pat and blend it in.
Even though I have dry skin, my T-zone gets oily in summer. After using this primer, my makeup definitely stays matte throughout the day.
I don't have large pores, so I can't really tell how well it covers them.

1. It covers fine lines and pores beautifully, except for deep-set ones, and refines skin texture. The skin looks absolutely gorgeous!

2. It has some color-correcting effects. While it doesn't completely mask redness, it does even out the complexion nicely.

3. It feels lighter than expected. Many compare it to the Be***t primer, but this one applies more moisturizing and lightweight.

4. True to its primer nature, it controls oil well, making your base last longer and resist breakdown. Even when it does wear off, it does so gracefully.

5. If primers usually cause blemishes for you, switch to this one. I've never experienced any breakouts with it.

- Since you use such small amounts, it's hard to expect significant redness coverage. If you want perfect coverage, I recommend buying the original size and using a green color corrector separately.

- If you apply even slightly too much, it pills like dead skin cells. Don't scoop it with the spatula; instead, use your finger to dab a tiny amount.

- I tried using it both before and after sunscreen, but applying it before sunscreen provided much better pore coverage. Until now, I hadn't found a primer with satisfactory pore-covering effects, but this one impressed me. It covers about 80% of pores, and when you apply foundation on top, almost all of them are concealed.

This is the best primer I've ever used!
