As someone who absolutely adored the pre-renewal Pony cushion, I used it for about 13 months! I've noticed some differences with the new version, though. While the skin finish is still beautiful post-renewal, it seems to apply a bit thicker and feels slightly drier than before, which is a bit disappointing. Also, there's some darkening of the product. While the cushion itself isn't bad, it's a shame that it seems to have taken a step back compared to the pre-renewal version. It applies thicker and feels drier than before, which is a bit of a letdown. It definitely applies thicker than before, so controlling the amount is crucial. There's also a slightly dry feeling, so you'll want to make sure your skincare routine is on point before using this. - jg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2025
I usually struggle to find cushion foundations in shade 13 that match my skin tone, as most tend to be too dark for me. However, this product's color was spot-on when I applied it! It doesn't give me a dramatically brightening effect, but it matches my complexion perfectly. I'm quite satisfied with that level of coverage. For reference, I have freckles and fall between shades 11-13. My personal color is Summer Light. Warm tones don't suit me at all, so I always stick to pink-based colors. This product sits somewhere between ivory and pink (though personally, I'd prefer it to be a bit pinker). I have oily skin, so when I use chemical sunscreens under cushion foundations, it tends to get greasy. I usually opt for mineral sunscreens instead. However, with this product, I found that using a hydrating chemical sunscreen actually works better than my usual mineral sunscreen and cushion combo. This combination worked especially well for me during spring, fall, and winter. Even with my oily skin, it felt great when used over a chemical sunscreen. That being said, it might be a bit too oily for summer use if you have very oily skin like mine. One of the best things about this product is that it comes in five shades, including options for those with fair skin like mine. The coverage is just okay, nothing special. Don't expect too much in terms of coverage! I've compared the shades of the products I use for your reference when making a purchase! - hs******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
It truly creates a beautiful skin finish - delicately enhancing your complexion with a dewy, radiant glow. Due to its hydrating properties, it's not recommended for oily skin types. While it does break down over time, it fades gracefully, maintaining a pretty look. This product seems ideal for those seeking a luminous, moisturized appearance. However, those with oily skin may want to consider alternatives that offer less hydration and more oil control. - ue***Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2025
I've been using this for 25 years and 5 months. Even though shade 13 was a bit darker than my complexion, it still looked natural on me. It applies smoothly at first, but it severely clogs pores and peels off like a boiled egg after a while. Touch-ups are impossible unless you completely remove what's left on your skin. - qk**********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 22, 2025
This is truly my holy grail cushion foundation. It's perfect for my skin in winter, and I'm using it religiously during the cold months. I'll definitely repurchase it! Unfortunately, the coverage is a bit weak. You need to apply a thick layer to get decent coverage, which is disappointing. - da*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 20, 2025
It's just right in terms of moistness and lasting power, so it's good. It's not exceptionally great, but the reason I keep using this product is that the color is pretty... I like my skin to be fair and thin, so I enjoy how it makes my skin expression transparent and radiant. Most cushions are just white or something, but this cushion is really pretty and illuminates my face transparently. And since I have dry skin, it applies nicely and moisturizes adequately even in the winter, as long as I do a good base. But it's not super dewy. The product is moisturizing, so the coverage is naturally not that great, and it's not entirely free of darkening. Apply a blue-based base, and then gently pat this on - it will truly give you a clear and transparent complexion. - 6y********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 18, 2025
This is truly a cushion worth recommending for both dry and oily skin! I had no idea my first cushion in life would be this good!! It really absorbs well, doesn't clog pores, and applies smoothly without needing to adjust the amount. You don't even need to control the application! There are no particular downsides. As long as you wash the cushion well and use it properly, that's all there is to it! Ah, the case does tend to get dirty quite easily... ㅜㅠ Take good care of the case, wash the cushion well, and use it well! - jg********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessMay 18, 2025
The natural-looking makeup you prefer, with colors that are not too bright or too dark, would likely be something you enjoy. It has decent coverage and makes your skin appear very smooth. It seems that touch-up makeup is not working for me..... Whenever I apply it, it feels heavy and ends up peeling off if I don't remove the previous layer first. It also seems to be causing some darkening, and my face ends up looking dull a few hours after applying makeup. ㅠㅠ - th*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
When applied, the texture was quite smooth, and there was a slight feeling of moisture upon initial touch. It didn't feel heavy or suffocating on the skin. The case design was clean, making it convenient to carry around. However, overall, there weren't many aspects that I found particularly impressive or outstanding. The most disappointing aspect was that the overall dark color made my complexion look dull. Rather than providing natural coverage, it felt noticeably artificial on the skin. Even as time passed, it didn't adhere properly and seemed to sit on top of the skin, making touch-ups necessary. Due to poor adherence, it easily accentuated skin texture and dead skin cells. Even after multiple applications, it lacked that skin-hugging feel. Compared to my expectations, this product left me with many disappointments overall. - cs*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 7, 2025
Compared to the previous version, this Pony Effect cushion feels thicker. It makes my skin look good, so I use it occasionally. I usually go for shade 1, but if I want a brighter look, I opt for shade 00. The coverage isn't high, but it's comfortable for combination dehydrated skin. Apart from the thick, heavy feeling, I'm satisfied. However, it lacks the thin, transparent application of the previous version. I probably won't repurchase it for this reason. When my skin is dry, I use organic sunscreen. When it's excessively oily, I use mineral sunscreen or a brightening moisturizer as a base.
