Even with a small amount, when patted in, it shows quite good absorption. It might feel a bit rich, but it doesn't come across as sticky. The pump design is nice, but the neck part is a bit short. When using it with one hand, you end up holding it, which unfortunately leads to some product residue. Rather than layering immediately after application, it seems to absorb well if you pat it in a bit and then spread it out.
