#Creamy #Serum-Cream Hybrid #Silky Smooth Skin Reviewer's Skin Type: • Dry • Prone to redness • Sensitive Reviewer's Preferences: • Fragrance-free • Clean ingredients • Gentle formulation 💛Benton Vitamin C Serum💛 Texture: A rich, creamy serum that feels like a blend of panthenol ointment and serum. Application & Feel: Initially, it has a slightly thick consistency reminiscent of panthenol ointment. However, after gently massaging it in twice, the serum texture becomes apparent and it spreads easily. While it doesn't absorb instantly, leaving a slight sheen, I'm satisfied using it as part of my nighttime routine. I personally experienced a slight tingling sensation on my skin. But there must be a good reason why I want to keep using it consistently, right? Next-Day Skin: I notice my skin gradually improving with continued use. My once dull complexion now has a subtle glow, making my skin look healthier and more radiant. Overall Impression: A product I'll keep in rotation. Though my sensitive skin can't handle daily use, I plan to incorporate it twice a week. There's a tingling sensation upon application, and the characteristic vitamin C scent lingers until the next day. Despite this, I intend to continue using it. Be careful when applying to your neck! I woke up to find the collar area of my clothes had turned yellow. - mj******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Even with a small amount, when patted in, it shows quite good absorption. It might feel a bit rich, but it doesn't come across as sticky. The pump design is nice, but the neck part is a bit short. When using it with one hand, you end up holding it, which unfortunately leads to some product residue. Rather than layering immediately after application, it seems to absorb well if you pat it in a bit and then spread it out. - id******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2025
This is my absolute favorite serum. I've been using it every morning. I can't think of any downsides. It's just good, and I'm not sure what else to say. - ox*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityJan 29, 2025
Recommended for those with steel-like skin who desire a high-concentration, powerful product I've had great experiences with most Benton products, so I bought this one with confidence... but, well... it's not only extremely sticky, it's downright painful. I regularly use retinol and vitamin C products, so I usually adapt without any issues. However, this one was shockingly intense - it burned so much that I had to wash it off immediately. It's quite potent. My skin was in poor condition that day, which might have made it worse, but I was so scared that I'm now just using it on my body for pigmentation (though I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet). Since it's a high-concentration formula, mixing it with a moisturizer can help dilute it a bit - cu*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDec 27, 2024
You can really feel the vitamin content in this product. It's fascinating how the small amount left around the opening changes color over time. I'm diligently applying it every day. The absorption is absolutely terrible... It's incredibly sticky and doesn't spread well at all. - sh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2024
I love that it's fragrance-free. It's a gentle vitamin C serum that doesn't cause any irritation. I'm also impressed that they use an airless pump container. While I don't experience any tingling sensation when I use this alone, my face still gets red and puffy. Could it be due to the adenosine? I'm not sure which ingredient is causing it, but it seems like something is dilating my blood vessels and making my face swell. It's a shame, but I've resorted to using it on my neck and the back of my hands instead. For best results, start by applying a slightly watery, mildly acidic toner. Before it fully dries, follow up with one pump of the vitamin C serum. This method allows you to spread a single pump (the recommended amount) evenly across your entire face without causing any irritation. - a_****Dry SkinOct 9, 2024
It's a highly concentrated Vitamin C ampoule. With consistent use, you can expect brightening effects. The high-concentration ampoule has a sticky, viscous texture. While it feels rich, the stickiness makes it absorb poorly. As it contains Vitamin C, there's some irritation and tingling. Due to its potency, mixing it with hydrating products or other ampoules causes it to clump and not blend well. The texture is quite unpleasant. The airless container lacks a pumping support, relying on air pressure instead, which may lead to packaging defects if you're unlucky. I'm currently using another brand's Vitamin C product, but this one is definitely more irritating than others. I recommend mixing it before application. Since this product can't be mixed, try layering a thin coat of moisturizer or cica cream over your entire face before applying this to reduce irritation. Those with super sensitive skin should use only a tiny amount! - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedSep 22, 2024
As someone with atopic-prone, extremely dry skin that's easily irritated and prone to inflammation (I've been dealing with atopic dermatitis since childhood), I've found more ingredients that don't work for me than those that do. But this product has been a game-changer! 1) The vitamin content is incredibly high - 20% pure vitamin C. 2) The product description on the website inspired a lot of confidence: ✓ 20% high-concentration, high-purity British vitamin C ✓ 4 antioxidant boosting ingredients & ectoin ✓ 100% active formula without purified water ~ 9 rigorous tests for visible effects on skin radiance and elasticity Developed over 3 years by a research director from a top Korean manufacturer 3) ✓ Airless container to prevent oxidation and maintain hygiene The pump is quite stiff compared to regular containers. It's an airless container, so I patiently endure the struggle each time, trusting in its benefits. 2. For the first few days, I experienced intense tingling, similar to taking high-dose vitamin C powder. It was stronger than Cosrx's 26% Vitamin C serum, which worried me a bit. However, the sensation only lasted about a minute before calming down. 3. For the first two weeks, my cheeks would flush when applying, but it would subside quickly. The next morning, my skin looked so bright that I couldn't resist using it again. 4. Now on my second bottle, I still feel a slight tingle if I skip a few days, but the redness has significantly decreased. 5. The results: 1) My skin tone has greatly improved. The large areas of pigmentation around my cheekbones have faded noticeably. After about 6 months, people are asking if I've had laser treatments for melasma. 2) The best part for daily life is dead skin cell management. I don't need special exfoliation, and my makeup doesn't clump or catch on flaky skin anymore. 3) Though it's recommended for evening use only, I apply it in the morning too, followed by plenty of sunscreen. 4. Considering the value for money (under 30,000 won per bottle), effectiveness, and quality, I plan to keep purchasing this as long as it's available. Of all the vitamin C serums I've tried this year - no, ever - this one is the most effective and satisfying. 1. The airless container makes it difficult to dispense the product, but I endure it knowing it's well-designed for a reason. 2. There's a tingling sensation upon application, but any redness quickly fades. 3. Please read the tips for best results. Apply this after using a hyaluronic acid ampoule and allowing it to fully absorb. It won't absorb well if your skin is too moist - slightly dry skin is best for absorption. Eye cream should be applied before the vitamin serum. After applying the vitamin serum and allowing it to fully absorb, you can layer on another hyaluronic acid ampoule, then follow with other serums or moisturizers once that's absorbed. As you use it, you'll develop a feel for the best application method. This product requires a bit of skill to apply effectively. - bu*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2024
I love how gentle this is! As someone with super sensitive skin, I was scared to try vitamin serums, but this one is so mild. Benton products are generally gentle and nice. I apply it on my face and areas with hyperpigmentation on my body, and it seems to brighten them up. It's been quite effective on my discolored underarms! There's nothing bad to say... If I had to nitpick, maybe the slightly thick texture?
