💛Benton Vitamin C Serum💛

Texture:
A rich, creamy serum that feels like a blend of panthenol ointment and serum.

Application & Feel:
Initially, it has a slightly thick consistency reminiscent of panthenol ointment. However, after gently massaging it in twice, the serum texture becomes apparent and it spreads easily.

While it doesn't absorb instantly, leaving a slight sheen, I'm satisfied using it as part of my nighttime routine.

I personally experienced a slight tingling sensation on my skin.

But there must be a good reason why I want to keep using it consistently, right?

Next-Day Skin:
I notice my skin gradually improving with continued use. My once dull complexion now has a subtle glow, making my skin look healthier and more radiant.

Overall Impression:
A product I'll keep in rotation. Though my sensitive skin can't handle daily use, I plan to incorporate it twice a week.

Rather than layering immediately after application, it seems to absorb well if you pat it in a bit and then spread it out.

The pump design is nice, but the neck part is a bit short. When using it with one hand, you end up holding it, which unfortunately leads to some product residue.

Even with a small amount, when patted in, it shows quite good absorption. It might feel a bit rich, but it doesn't come across as sticky.

I can't think of any downsides. It's just good, and I'm not sure what else to say.

I've had great experiences with most Benton products, so I bought this one with confidence... but, well... it's not only extremely sticky, it's downright painful. I regularly use retinol and vitamin C products, so I usually adapt without any issues. However, this one was shockingly intense - it burned so much that I had to wash it off immediately. It's quite potent. My skin was in poor condition that day, which might have made it worse, but I was so scared that I'm now just using it on my body for pigmentation (though I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet).

The absorption is absolutely terrible... It's incredibly sticky and doesn't spread well at all.

You can really feel the vitamin content in this product. It's fascinating how the small amount left around the opening changes color over time. I'm diligently applying it every day.

For best results, start by applying a slightly watery, mildly acidic toner. Before it fully dries, follow up with one pump of the vitamin C serum. This method allows you to spread a single pump (the recommended amount) evenly across your entire face without causing any irritation.

While I don't experience any tingling sensation when I use this alone, my face still gets red and puffy. Could it be due to the adenosine? I'm not sure which ingredient is causing it, but it seems like something is dilating my blood vessels and making my face swell. It's a shame, but I've resorted to using it on my neck and the back of my hands instead.

I love that it's fragrance-free. It's a gentle vitamin C serum that doesn't cause any irritation. I'm also impressed that they use an airless pump container.

I'm currently using another brand's Vitamin C product, but this one is definitely more irritating than others. I recommend mixing it before application. Since this product can't be mixed, try layering a thin coat of moisturizer or cica cream over your entire face before applying this to reduce irritation. It's a highly concentrated Vitamin C ampoule. With consistent use, you can expect brightening effects.

Apply this after using a hyaluronic acid ampoule and allowing it to fully absorb. It won't absorb well if your skin is too moist - slightly dry skin is best for absorption. Eye cream should be applied before the vitamin serum. After applying the vitamin serum and allowing it to fully absorb, you can layer on another hyaluronic acid ampoule, then follow with other serums or moisturizers once that's absorbed.

As you use it, you'll develop a feel for the best application method. This product requires a bit of skill to apply effectively.

As someone with atopic-prone, extremely dry skin that's easily irritated and prone to inflammation (I've been dealing with atopic dermatitis since childhood), I've found more ingredients that don't work for me than those that do. But this product has been a game-changer!
