I'm wondering why I didn't pick up Pint Check sooner... I was torn between the Ingmul God Gichen Angel set and this one, but decided to give the matte lip a try this time. Shade 11 Even Rosy is a pink-beige with a lot of white undertones, perfect for covering natural lip color. At first, I thought it was a blush and tried it on my cheeks, but it's actually a beautiful base color that works for both warm and cool skin tones, giving a soft, pretty finish! Shade 3 Pint Check is a bright berry pink! It's pretty on its own, but even more beautiful when you apply the base first and then gradient it on top. 💘 I usually can't wear matte lips alone, but when I top it with a clear gloss, it transforms into this amazing jelly-like, plump strawberry lip that's absolutely gorgeous. If you have a lot of lip lines, it's inevitable that they'll be accentuated. However, using a colored gloss seems to settle into those lines even more. I wouldn't recommend pairing this with other glossy lip products! Stick to using it with a clear gloss only! For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, this matte lip formula works hard to provide a comfortable wear. It absorbs well without feeling sticky or causing pilling. To enhance the Inner Glow effect, try layering it with the brightening moisturizer from the same line for a luminous complexion that evens skin tone. Remember, a daily mask routine can help maintain hydration and balance oil and moisture levels, reducing the chance of blemishes or redness. - kd*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
As someone with a light undertone, it wasn't exactly what I expected, but I'm satisfied! I apply it little by little, so it feels like there's plenty of product! If you don't exfoliate well, it tends to clump up when applied. Removing dead skin cells is a must!! Make sure to exfoliate your lips well before applying - my********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 4, 2025
It creates a beautiful soft-focus effect, leaving the skin looking flawless. The shade matches my fair-cool skin tone perfectly, which is why I'm already on my second bottle. It felt a bit drying after application. Make sure to exfoliate well the night before to remove dead skin cells. - 05********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
First off, I absolutely adored the color - it's incredibly pretty and really won me over. It also looks beautiful when used as an accent color for your lips. If you have a lot of dead skin cells on your lips, this tint really accentuates them, even after exfoliating. I wouldn't recommend this for people with dry, flaky lips. Applying a bit of lip balm before the tint to moisturize your lips can help minimize the appearance of dead skin cells. - gu*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 1, 2025
It's not too sticky, has a beautiful color payoff, and I really like it. It doesn't wear off quickly, so I can eat without worrying about it. Apart from the fact that it can slightly emphasize dead skin cells, there are no downsides. It's a product I've used extremely well. - gr*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedNov 5, 2024
As a summer cool light skin tone, this gives my face a lively glow. I'm eager to find more shades like this! When applied to the lips, it tends to clump up a bit, similar to the texture of yogurt. It's matte, so I layer a glowy lip product on top. Might be too drying to use in winter though. - ls*****Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 22, 2024
First off, the color is absolutely stunning. When I wear this tint, everyone compliments me on how beautiful it looks, so I've been recommending it to everyone! The shade is very close to what you see on Peripera's official website. Although it's a matte lip product, it doesn't feel overly drying. The staining effect doesn't turn into an unexpected pink but stays true to the initial color, making it great for touch-ups. If you have cool-toned skin, I highly recommend this product! Honestly, there's not much to dislike about Pink Check. The only minor issue is that it can occasionally apply a bit patchy, so you need to blend it well! The brush that comes with the set is quite good quality. It's great for blurring the tint and helps it adhere well to the lips, resulting in an even more beautiful application. - wp*****Combination SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 10, 2024
Staining power I tested it in-store and thought I had wiped it off completely, but as you can see in the second photo, it left a noticeable stain even until today - excellent staying power! (As it's a blur tint, it will naturally come off if you drink or eat right after application... You need to give it sufficient time to set!) Color A muted pink that complements even warm complexions. Texture Glides on smoothly and feels comfortable on the lips! Emphasizes dead skin cells Like most matte formulas, it immediately highlights flaky skin if applied without proper lip prep... I recommend gently exfoliating and applying lip balm before using this product! - ye**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 5, 2024
Appearance: I really liked how pretty it looks. However, the lid seems to open a bit too easily. Texture: I loved the creamy texture that applies like a blur effect. Overall, it has a matte finish, so exfoliating dead skin cells is a must. Color: It has a fluorescent undertone, which would suit those who look good in bright colors. Scent: There's a subtle fragrance, but it's not too strong, which I found nice. Even those with sensitive noses should be able to use it without issues. For me, the fluorescent undertone was a bit too much, so it didn't really suit me. Also, you need to smudge it quickly for a nice application. Being a matte lip product, it did emphasize dry, flaky skin. - su********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2024
The color payoff is excellent. You can create different shades with each layer. Despite the matte finish, it's surprisingly moisturizing. As expected, the color changes slightly over time. It has a somewhat vibrant look. Also, it doesn't last very long. After eating, only the lip line remains while the rest fades away. Since the color changes over time, it's best to reapply after a while.
