The texture wasn't overly sticky, which was great. Even after application, there was minimal transfer when touching my face. It definitely brightened my complexion, making it perfect for applying on the neck too. The puff applicator made it super easy to apply!
ConsUnfortunately, I developed some blemishes after using this product. Also, the quantity is really small. I only used it twice, then turned the container upside down to get three more uses before it was completely empty. Those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.
TipHmm, I noticed that using this before other products seemed to reduce darkening a bit.

The puff also feels nice when it touches the face.
ConsI'm not sure if there's too little product or if it's just hard to dispense, but you have to press really hard to get enough out for a noticeable brightening effect. Also, after application, my skin becomes shiny as if it's gotten oily, which makes me reluctant to use it. They claim it has a cooling effect, but I'm not so sure about that either...

I especially liked that it contains mineral sunscreen ingredients. The puff was nice and soft too, which was a plus.
ConsFor a mineral sunscreen, it stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes, which is disappointing. Also, it doesn't cover redness as well as I had hoped, which is another letdown.
TipMake sure to control the amount you apply to avoid an unnaturally white cast on your face!

It gave a nice glow without being excessive, which is great for dry skin. The best part was the puff with its little dimples or holes - it helped apply the product evenly without caking, and made controlling the amount super easy! Being a tone-"up" cushion, it definitely brightened my complexion, and the color wasn't bad at all. It might look a bit too light right after application, but once you set it with powder and finish the rest of your makeup, it becomes more natural. With 15g of product, it's more generous than other sun cushions, making it a fantastic foundation-free sun cushion for everyday use!
ConsI bought this for redness coverage, but it didn't conceal it as well as I'd hoped. It's better suited as a brightening moisturizer with sun protection. Cool-toned folks might find it okay, but I'm hesitant to recommend it to those with warm undertones. When my sister, who has a very warm complexion, tried it on, it made her look noticeably yellow.
TipSkin type: Dry to combination, leaning towards extremely dry. I'm not a fan of most skincare lines that claim to be hydrating but still leave my skin feeling parched underneath. I've grown skeptical of recommendations like 'This one's not drying!' or 'It leaves your skin feeling powdery on the outside but moisturized inside!' because they often end up being too drying for me. These days, I ignore such claims and focus on finding products that truly work for my skin type.

I love the water droplet-shaped puff that comes with it. The Vera collaboration version is adorable and fun to use. Even with my acne-prone and sensitive skin, I'm glad it didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsIt feels a bit like it's sitting on top of the skin... Other than that, I haven't noticed anything else yet.

When applied to the skin, there's a subtle cooling effect. Being a cushion formula, it's great for touch-ups on the go. This sun cushion provides a natural brightening effect while slightly covering redness, making it suitable for a foundation-free look or as a base before makeup. It doesn't cause dryness or clog pores, and it's not greasy either. The texture is just right, making it perfect for summer use.
ConsIt wasn't great for use when redness is severe. You need to be careful with the amount and application, otherwise it can clump up.

The puff is nice and firm. It helps neutralize redness, and it's great for those times when you're too lazy to apply sunscreen but still want to look a bit put-together.
ConsNothing really bad to say! Though it might be slightly more inconvenient to use compared to a regular sunscreen you just apply with your hands.
TipControl the amount you use, apply it to your face, then gently pat and spread it out for the best results.

The cushion format is great for touch-ups when I'm out and about! The scent wasn't particularly off-putting. The puff had a unique shape, seemingly designed for easy control of product amount. While it doesn't completely cover redness, I thought it could work well as a base product.
ConsAs someone with extremely dry skin, it felt a bit drying to me. There was some pilling around my nose, and it seemed to emphasize dead skin cells. Those with dry skin might need to pay extra attention to their skincare routine before using this. It seems you need to apply quite a bit to get the same coverage as regular sunscreen. I think it might run out faster than expected!

First off, the design has undergone several changes. The original had a mint and white combo, but the renewed version is all mint with a brighter, more vibrant color. The protective film on the cushion mirror is now much easier to remove, which is a nice improvement. The puff has changed to a half-perforated design, which I prefer. The perforated part is great for touch-ups. The product color looks similar to the naked eye. The film on the renewed cushion adheres more tightly. When I removed the film, the renewed product seemed to have more content on the sponge surface compared to the original. (The difference is more noticeable in the photo since I've been using the original one.) As for the application, it feels a bit lighter on the skin. The cooling effect seems similar to the previous version, but I'll need to try it in summer to be sure. It also feels slightly sheerer. This might be related to the lighter texture. The most noticeable change is that it's more hydrating. The previous version was a bit more matte and tended to settle into fine lines and emphasize dead skin cells over time. The renewed version is more hydrating and less prone to settling into fine lines or highlighting flaky skin. When pressing the sponge, less product comes out, making it easier to control the amount used.
ConsDesign-wise, the original product had an adjustable angle for the puff cover, while the renewed version doesn't. It feels less sturdy. Personally, I preferred the adjustable angle. In terms of performance, while it was never a high-coverage product, the coverage seems to have decreased slightly after the renewal. The same goes for its brightening effect. I usually use the original product, but when I wore the renewed version to work today, I was told I looked a bit darker or duller than usual. So I had to add more of the original product on top. I think this is because the new formula is lighter and more hydrating, resulting in a more natural finish. However, this could also be due to less product coming out and the more hydrating formula, which might lead to a thinner application. While it's more hydrating, there's a bit more shine on the surface, and that signature cooling effect followed by a slightly powdery finish is gone. I find myself using more powder with this version. It's still my favorite cushion, so I'll keep using it. I appreciate that it's less likely to emphasize flaky skin or settle into lines, but I'm a bit disappointed with the reduced brightening effect. I'll need to use it more to see if it's just due to the difference in how much product comes out. +Still no refills available... Please sell refills...
TipFor my combination-dry skin, this product can sometimes emphasize flaky skin, so I recommend applying a very hydrating base before using this cushion. That's why I usually apply a generous amount of skincare, use the cushion before it dries, and then set it with powder.

The product has a light white color with a greenish tint. The puff is quite soft, with half of it having holes and the other half without, allowing for versatile application (though I didn't notice much difference). The case is relatively thin, making it convenient for touch-ups on-the-go. While I didn't use it frequently, I didn't experience any blemishes during use. It has a scent similar to the metallic smell of mineral sunscreens. Being a mineral sunscreen, it didn't irritate my eyes. Upon application, it feels hydrating, but it becomes more matte over time. Like most mineral sunscreens, it tends to produce some oil as more time passes.
ConsFor me, it was a bit too light, so if I were to apply enough for proper sun protection from the start, I'd look like a ghost. I initially requested it from The Hwahae Testers for touch-ups, so it wasn't a major issue. The texture is somewhat thick and doesn't spread easily, making it difficult to apply evenly. Given its light color, you need to be careful not to make your face look too white during application.
TipRecommended for those with redness in their complexion or oily skin.
