There's a reason this product was discontinued, right? One use and I was hooked! If I had to point out a benefit, it might work well for those with dry skin who already have good skin. Don't sweat or cry after applying this - you'll end up with white streaks running down your face! It's also incredibly rich, to the point where if you apply it in the morning, by afternoon your face isn't glowing in a good way. Instead, you look like you haven't washed your face in two days, with an oily sheen so intense you could practically fry an egg on it. They made the right call discontinuing this one... - bs**************Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 22, 2025
When applied, it naturally brightens and evens skin tone really well. Its lightweight texture absorbs quickly, and once fully absorbed, it doesn't transfer onto clothes, which I absolutely loved. It adheres to the skin incredibly well, so when applied naturally, it's barely noticeable! Unlike thicker, more viscous products that feel sticky on the neck and uncomfortable in summer, this one, despite an initial slight stickiness, absorbs to leave your skin feeling wonderfully soft and fresh! First off, it's extremely runny, so even a small squeeze results in too much product coming out, which can be messy and inconvenient if it drips on clothes. The packaging is reminiscent of a toothpaste tube, making it difficult to control the amount dispensed. Additionally, if you apply too much, it can leave an excessively white cast that's hard to blend away once it's absorbed. Despite these drawbacks, it might still be worth trying out! This brightening moisturizer seems to offer a good balance between effective tone-up and comfortable wear, especially for those with combination dehydrated skin looking for a lightweight option. Its ability to absorb well and not transfer makes it suitable for layering under makeup or using alone for a natural glow. However, users should be cautious with application due to its runny consistency to avoid waste and over-application. - js*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 22, 2025
It doesn't transfer and it's really great! It's moisturizing without being too oily, so even those with oily skin can use it. The staying power is excellent and makeup applies well over it. For tone-up, if you're usually a shade 23, this might make you look closer to shade 18... haha! For reference, I'm quite tanned so I use shade 23, but my natural skin tone (depending on the foundation) was around 13 to 17. So the bright parts of my skin are very light, the darker areas are about shade 23, and the middle areas are around 19-21. I usually use foundation in shade 17, and this product is great for matching my neck color! It's a bit disappointing that it drips right when you open the cap... The product gets all over the inside of the lid. When applying to the body, you have to really rub it in because of body hair. It would be nice if it had sun protection too. Try mixing it with a darker foundation! It works amazingly! Also, if you have a sunscreen that tends to leave a white cast, mix this product in a 2:1 ratio (2 parts of this product to 1 part sunscreen) and it becomes much better! - kk********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2025
The brightening effect is definitely noticeable! It feels like you could go foundation-free. However, since it's a brightening moisturizer, it doesn't provide any coverage. I use it on my neck to match my face and neck tones. I thought the texture would be thick, but it's actually quite creamy. It absorbs really well! It did settle into my neck wrinkles a bit, unfortunately. So I have to pat that area gently with a puff... - 08********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 17, 2025
This product is simply amazing! It applies smoothly even when you just use your hands. More importantly, it completely shattered my preconception that brightening moisturizers are always dry and stiff. It's the perfect brightening moisturizer to use before applying makeup. Well... the packaging seems a bit inconvenient. The product keeps coming out endlessly even with just a slight press. If you apply this before using a cushion foundation that tends to oxidize, you won't experience any darkening throughout the day. - ji*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 16, 2025
This doesn't rub off on clothes and stays put, which is great. It's also excellent as a primer before applying makeup. It's perfect for matching your neck tone to your face after doing your makeup. It seemed to sit on top of my skin a bit. I'm not sure if it's because of dead skin cells or what, but it slightly cakes up in the T-zone. - yo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
I loved how it naturally brightened my complexion. It was thinner than I expected, which made it easy to apply smoothly. It's a shame it doesn't have any sun protection. Controlling the amount to use can be a bit tricky. - ih***Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 12, 2025
Texture: It's not as runny as a typical cream, but has a more substantial feel. Still, it maintains a good level of hydration! Application: You'll need to be mindful of how much you use. Applying small amounts works well without clumping, but using too much can lead to pilling or poor absorption. Scent: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I found it pleasantly subtle - perhaps slightly sweet? I can't pinpoint the exact scent, but it wasn't off-putting. The fragrance doesn't linger after application. Coverage & Brightening: While it's not a concealer or cushion, so it won't hide blemishes significantly, it does wonders for brightening! It really helps with discoloration around the mouth, nose, and under-eye areas. In the photo, the left side is with the product, the right side without. Skin Type: Even with my very dry skin, it worked well! It has just enough moisture to prevent caking or severe clumping. Remember, moderation is key! It even absorbed nicely on my wrinkly fingers after patting it in. Texture: There's a slight stickiness right after application, but less than a regular cream. Your hair won't stick to it. As time passes, it seems to absorb more, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. The third photo shows immediately after application, the fourth after some time has passed. When you open the lid, the cream pops out like little turtle eggs. Is it just me? We need speed! The cleansing power isn't particularly strong. Like sunscreen, it becomes water-resistant, beading up when wet. Regular foam cleansers struggle to remove it completely. However, oil or balm cleansers work well. I sometimes mix it with concealer to use like a cushion foundation. It looks even more natural than a cushion, with a lovely brightening effect. Highly recommend this method! - wl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
I was skeptical at first because it looks like toothpaste, but wow! The fresh scent and how easily it applies to the face won me over. Just a small amount noticeably brightens my complexion. It's perfect for those times when I'm too shy to go bare-faced but too lazy for full makeup. I just apply this one product and I'm good to go! Due to the nature of the packaging, it's a bit inconvenient to squeeze out every last bit or gather the remaining product. - je*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 6, 2025
Wow, it applies so naturally and doesn't transfer at all! Even when I apply it in the morning and come back later, it stays put. Impressive! There's honestly nothing to complain about! The scent is nearly undetectable, so it wasn't bothersome at all.
