While there's a slight white cast, if applied in small amounts, it provides a subtle brightening effect that even men can use without feeling self-conscious. True to its name as a sun emulsion, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and applies smoothly. The quantity is generous - it's about the size of a body emulsion, so you can apply it liberally on your arms and legs without worrying about running out. It's perfect for sharing with family members. It's non-greasy and absorbs quickly. Due to its low oil content, it doesn't feel slippery or sit on top of your skin.
ConsAs it's an emulsion with a light texture and low oil content, it can lead to deep dryness. When applying makeup over it, the base might separate later due to the underlying dryness. It's recommended to use this product on its own. It's not a formula that can be removed with water alone. You'll need to use a foam cleanser. It applies with a slightly water-resistant feel, so you'll need to cleanse thoroughly with a foam cleanser.
TipIf you mix this product with a hydrating moisturizer, you can create a hydrating brightening moisturizer that improves deep dryness while providing a tone-up effect. It's great for a foundation-free daily routine - just apply it generously before heading to work.

I actually liked the subtle, natural brightening effect it gave. (The attached photo shows my hand looking too white due to over-application... but it looks natural when applied correctly.) It didn't cause any blemishes, and it even helped control oil production in the afternoon, so my skin didn't get too shiny.
ConsIt's a bit... deeply dehydrating, unfortunately. While my skin looks fine on the surface with a natural glow, it feels tight and parched underneath. This might partly be due to the dry spring weather.

Texture & Application: I expected it to be runny since it's a sun emulsion, but it had a similar consistency to other sunscreens. It spread easily, and after application, my skin felt soft and smooth. As time passed, the hydration evaporated, leaving a slightly powdery finish. Tone-Up & Coverage: There was no coverage at all. When applied, it seemed to brighten my complexion by about one shade - not sure if it was a white cast or not. However, it quickly blended with my natural skin tone, so it wasn't bothersome. Scent: There's a subtle citrus fragrance, but it's not overpowering, so it didn't bother me much. Blemishes: Since I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I didn't experience any breakouts.
ConsLack of Hydration: This isn't a very hydrating product, and perhaps because it's the changing season, I felt some deep dryness as time went on. Difficult to Control Amount: The opening is quite large, so a lot comes out at once, making it hard to control the amount.
TipTip: Those with dry skin might want to use this only during summer. Tip: The opening is large, so squeeze gently!

After washing my face, I applied moisturizer and then this sunscreen, and thankfully, I didn't experience any blemishes! There was no stinging around my eyes either, and I loved that it's easily washable! Following the instructions that it's safe for the whole family, I felt confident applying a small amount to my baby's face before going out. The generous volume means I could probably use it on my arms and legs in summer too!
ConsUnfortunately, it didn't quite manage to address my skin's dryness. I used it in the order of toner, moisturizer, sunscreen, and then powder foundation. Right after application, my skin felt dry. It did get a bit better as time passed though!
