I immediately bought this product when I heard it was created in collaboration with YouTube's Director Pi. One pump was enough to cover my entire face, and the color matched well, so I'm really enjoying it. While it's not extremely high coverage, it still evens out my complexion nicely, which I'm satisfied with. I noticed that if my skin is extremely dry, it can slightly pill even with a good base. However, this happens with other foundations too, so I think I should blame my skin for this issue. - je*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityApr 28, 2025
The lightweight formula runs down your hand when pumped, but it spreads easily and adheres well to the skin. Its fluid consistency allows for smooth application and excellent skin adhesion. The longevity was disappointing, and when it breaks down, it clumps up. Unfortunately, it settled into pores and accentuated skin texture, making it an unsuitable foundation for me. - qw********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 26, 2024
The color is natural and absorbs well. Although it has a moisturizing formula, the finish feels semi-matte. It darkens significantly and has poor coverage (doesn't cover pores or blemishes). There's noticeable patchiness and darkening in certain areas. With my shade 21 skin, it makes me look relatively dull. - km*****Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessRecommendedSep 1, 2024
The adherence is excellent! It clings perfectly even when applied with fingers and patted with a puff, no brush needed. It has great staying power, so touch-ups aren't necessary. However, being semi-glow, it slightly accentuates skin texture after some time. I haven't used it in winter yet, so I can't judge how it performs with dryness. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 8, 2024
I felt confident purchasing this product since it was co-developed by Director Pi and Missha. Although I usually don't get along well with cushions, I was curious about how the foundation would perform, so I decided to give it a try. It didn't cake up at all, and among all the foundations I've used, this was the easiest to apply without any fuss. The claim of 'ultra-adherent fixing' really held true, and I didn't notice any skin darkening. On the side where I applied the glow balm, my pores appeared more filled in, and there was a beautiful glow. The foundation seemed to meld with my skin even better. While the side without the glow balm was fine too, I felt the overall skin appearance was prettier on the side with the balm. The one notable difference was that the side with the balm was definitely less dry. While it didn't completely cover my dark spots, I was satisfied with this level of coverage. I actually prefer this as full coverage can make my skin look heavy and unnatural. I used one pump of foundation to cover my entire face, then added half a pump more to provide extra coverage on my T-zone and areas with dark spots. - bo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2024
Ingredients: It's challenging for makeup products to have good ingredients, but this one is on the better side. It's gentle, has no side effects, and even those with sensitive skin can use it with confidence. However, the 33rd ingredient, alumina, is marked in red. I'm sensitive to lactobacillus, which is listed as the 18th to 23rd ingredient. I thought I was in trouble, but maybe because it's only a small amount, I've been using it without any adverse reactions so far. Usually, foundations contain organic UV filters, but interestingly, this one has titanium dioxide, an inorganic UV filter. Perhaps because this ingredient is white and can cause a white cast, this foundation seems to have a lighter color. Fragrance: It's very gentle as it contains no fragrance at all. Color: Color is crucial for a foundation, and overall, this one leans on the lighter side. Director Pi said the ivory shade is the prettiest, so many people bought it, but it's too light for some, and I've seen many reselling it on secondhand markets. I'm warm-toned and use shade 21, so I bought the Vanilla 21. It's lighter than what I usually use, which gives me a brighter look that I like. They advertised it as a foundation with a lot of ivory tones, and true to that, the color isn't yellowish but very delicate and radiant. The shade 21 I used before from A*so* was on the darker side, while Missha's 21 is on the lighter side, so there's a huge difference (see the last photo). Oxidation: There's hardly any oxidation. Usually, you're advised to buy a foundation one shade lighter than your skin tone, but that's not necessary with this one. The color you apply in the morning stays almost the same until evening. Glow: They claim it gives a 24-hour glow. While it's not a dewy or glossy finish, I prefer this natural glow. Adherence: It adheres very well to the skin. Apply a thin layer, then pat it with a damp sponge twice, and it spreads thinly, naturally, and adheres well. Coverage: The coverage is above medium, I'd say medium-high. I'm satisfied because I dislike thick, heavy-looking makeup that comes with very high coverage. However, if you're looking for extremely high coverage, you might be disappointed. For perfect coverage, if you need to apply a second layer, make sure to apply very thinly and pat a lot, otherwise it can get extremely thick. Longevity: The staying power is good too. Usually, foundations tend to get oily and smudge over time, but this one actually becomes drier, preventing smudging and lasting longer. Because it contains titanium dioxide, an ingredient used in inorganic UV filters, it can get quite dry as time passes. So while it's good for my dry skin in summer, it might be too drying for winter use. It comes with a brush, but the brush absorbs too much product without releasing enough. I don't use the brush. Moreover, the brush is too firm and feels like it's scraping off the makeup. The color range is very light, so those with darker skin tones might not find a suitable shade. Great for achieving a clear complexion. As it's a glow product, it's easy to apply and feels light, so there's less of a heavy feeling. Perfect for quickly putting on in the morning. When applying with the brush I received with the purchase, I felt the adherence was a bit lacking. If you spread it with a brush and then pat it in with a cushion or puff to finish, the adherence improves. - br*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2024
I tried this product after hearing it was a collaboration with Director Pi, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the beautiful ivory glow it gives. I'm so satisfied that I've used up the entire bottle and I'm buying a new one! There's nothing bad to say. I really love it. The color is so pretty and it has great staying power, so I'm using it with complete satisfaction. - qu********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 6, 2024
The ingredients are so good that even after wearing makeup all day, I don't get any blemishes the next day I didn't find the coverage to be particularly impressive, but that's the only real drawback I noticed - bi*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 5, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin, I was thrilled that it didn't cause any blemishes. Usually, products with such great ingredients lack coverage, but this one provides decent coverage! The shade is around #22, which gives a nice, bright complexion. It's a bit disappointing that you can see it starting to break down after 4-5 hours of wear.
