The top shade is Brown, while the bottom is Ash Brown. It applies smoothly and sets well, so it doesn't smudge easily. The staying power is also impressive. I've been using it for over a year now, and I'm really pleased that it still glides on smoothly. Some products tend to dry out quickly, but not this one. The color appears a bit too red on my complexion, unfortunately. If you have skin with strong redness, it might not blend well and could look unflattering. Those with a similar skin tone to mine should keep this in mind before purchasing. When choosing an eyebrow product, it's important to consider how it complements your natural skin tone and undertones. What works for one person may not suit another, so it's always a good idea to test the product if possible or read reviews from people with similar skin tones before making a purchase. - do*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I've been using this since I first started wearing makeup. It glides on smoothly and once it sets, it really stays put. It creates a more natural look than brush pens, so I highly recommend it. There's a bit of smudging under the eyes, but it doesn't completely disappear. A quick touch-up in the afternoon is all you need. - kh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 2, 2025
Finding someone who hasn't tried this product might be quite the challenge! It's my absolute favorite, repurchasing every three months without fail. The legendary Clio Sharp, So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner - undisputed champion of eyeliners. While curiosity leads me to try various brands when new liners hit the market, I always come back to Clio for repurchases. It's simply unbeatable. I've experimented with Clio's newer eyeliners too, but I find myself gravitating towards this classic. The familiar thickness and ability to control the intensity at the eye's corner just work better for me with this tried-and-true product. Unlike some liners that impress initially but change dramatically a month after opening, Clio maintains its quality. Sure, it's slightly different from when first opened, but I've used it smoothly right down to the last bit! After the first month of smooth application, around the two to three-month mark, it does stiffen slightly, causing some powder fallout during makeup application. Despite tightly closing the cap, it tends to dry out a bit. Occasionally, the core inside crumbles and the pencil tip falls out unexpectedly! Stock up during sales and use it generously before it dries out. Replacing it more frequently ensures beautiful makeup results! - by********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 24, 2025
This is the gentlest and least irritating pencil eyeliner I've ever used. Unlike many liners that drag and tug at the skin, this one glides on smoothly and effortlessly. It's perfect for beginners as it's easy to apply and correct mistakes. While it sets over time, it's not actually waterproof despite the claim. It removes easily and smudges well for a smoky look. It's sensitive to oils and moisture, so it may smudge with skin contact. As someone with dry skin, I find it stays put well enough and I'm very satisfied with it. Not recommended for oily skin types! If you have very oily skin, this might not be for you. Great for beginners though. It's not waterproof as advertised - it smudges and comes off easily. - gs********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMar 10, 2025
The staying power isn't bad, but for a waterproof product, it smudges a bit more than expected. Compared to other pencils, it doesn't smudge much, but it does when compared to brush liners. The color payoff is good and it applies smoothly. However, I wouldn't repurchase it. Not recommended for those whose under-eye area touches their cheeks when smiling. It keeps smudging. It's not a bad idea to use the Clio eyeliner pencil as a base and then apply a longer-lasting brush pen over it for better results. - ch*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 5, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that tends to be oily. The brown shade has a soft, gentle feel and the color payoff is great. It's nice that it doesn't smudge or fade even when I sweat. The texture isn't too thin, making it perfect for filling in the waterline. There weren't really any downsides. If I had to mention something, I suppose the price is a bit on the higher side, which is slightly disappointing. - eh********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsFeb 11, 2025
It claims to be waterproof, but it comes off so easily, haha! At first, it applies very lightly, but as it dries, it becomes more intense. However, when you try to apply another layer after it dries, it starts to come off. What's up with that? It's not waterproof at all. You're better off using the Kiss Me brand instead. - s8*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
1. Smooth application and blends well 2. The color is not too close to black, but a classic brown shade, perfect for underlining! I absolutely love the color 1. Although it's waterproof, the staying power is weak. It comes off easily with tears There's also some smudging, so if you're going to be out for a long time, touch-ups are a must - mm********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2025
The thin brush allows for precise application, and the color payoff is excellent Although it claims to be waterproof, the staying power isn't as impressive as expected - rl*********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 3, 2024
Perfect for eyeliner beginners. I chose brown over black for a more natural look. As someone who struggles with eyeliner application, I've gone through over 10 of these. The tail end seems to fade a bit. After a while, you'll need to check in a mirror and touch up the ends.
