Hwahae applies smoothly and softly. It glides on like a lotion, and even when applied generously, it is quickly absorbed without any stickiness.
Cons
At first, when applying it, there is an alcohol smell, so I'm like 'Is this okay..?' haha. Since I have a slightly sensitive skin, an adaptation period is needed, but it didn't turn over or anything! And as usual, when I apply it, it gets pushed out like a stain on the edges of my face (jawline).. haha. If it gets in my eyes, it stings a lot, and it's also quite oily.

Whenever I go to Japan, I always buy this. It's not too oily and there's no white cast. It applies like a lotion and I really like it!
Cons
There's really nothing disappointing, but if you prefer a product that doesn't have an alcohol scent and doesn't leave a white cast, I'd recommend using a different sunscreen.

Surprisingly, my eyes don't feel very irritated. I bought this sunscreen at the Japanese Donki store without high expectations, knowing it was an organic chemical sunscreen that could potentially irritate my eyes. However, even when I applied it all the way up to my eyelids, my eyes didn't feel irritated. The sunscreen has a light, powdery fragrance and feels slightly oily right after application, but the oiliness subsides to an appropriate level as I continued using it and taking photos for this review. This suggests it could also work well for those with oily skin. Since it's an organic chemical sunscreen, there's no noticeable brightening effect, making it suitable for wearing alone on bare skin. It also pairs well with powder foundations. Great find! If you spot this at the Donki store in Japan, I'd recommend picking it up without much hesitation. It seems to have minimal downsides and could make a nice gift as well. Highly recommended!

At first, there is a strong alcohol scent. When applied, the alcohol scent is present but quickly disappears! And when blended, it slightly sheers out a bit! It was a Hera powder foundation, so it was already powdery, but it still sheered out a little. However, the degree of impact is not significant, and it actually seemed to work well with the oil-control powder foundation (powdery) that sets well. I think I'll likely use it again, except for special occasions. And besides the transparent plastic packaging on the outside, there was no seal at the opening, so when I opened it, the lid was already open, which was a bit surprising haha. But other than that, everything else is good!
Tip
It's great for wearing on bare skin when going out without burden, and it's also nice as a gift for the same purpose. I also recommend it to gentlemen!
