Pros
It has a smooth application and is absorbed incredibly quickly! It seems to be effective in soothing blemishes!
Cons
The areas with thin skin (such as the philtrum and eyelids) become reddened and overly irritated when applied. Additionally, it is not recommended to apply it before makeup, as it tends to peel off like a scab.
Tip
The Hwahae Testers recommend applying the product only to the areas with red marks, such as the forehead and chin, as it can be used without any discomfort.

This product is effective for blemish care, showing results in just 3 days. The tube packaging allows for easy control of the amount used. You can apply it to specific problem areas or all over your face. After extracting sebum or when your skin is red, applying it generously like a sleeping pack helps reduce redness by the next morning. It's not too runny, but rather a cream-essence with a nice consistency. It's not thick, but smoothly rolls onto the skin and absorbs well. There's no deep dryness, no greasiness, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and matte.
Cons
The amount is less than expected, so you'll use it up quickly, unfortunately.

I have sensitive combination dehydrated to dry skin that's prone to blemishes. During seasonal changes or summer, when my skin gets bumpy, rough, and blemish-prone, using this La Roche-Posay Duo Essence provides instant, gentle exfoliation. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth, and I can really notice the difference. It also calms my skin and reduces redness when blemishes appear. This product was great for tackling deep dryness too!
Cons
For those with dry skin, the serum alone might not provide enough hydration, so I recommend adding a separate hydrating serum. This product is most suitable for combination dehydrated or oily skin types!

I've repurchased this product so many times I've lost count - it's that amazing! After using it for just a few days, all my big blemishes completely disappeared.

Pros
As someone with oily skin, I noticed a significant reduction in oil and sebum production after using this product. It didn't cause any irritation, and the decrease in oil led to fewer closed comedones! If you have dry skin, it might be too lightweight for winter use, but for summer, it could work well when paired with a hydrating moisturizer. For those with oily skin, this alone might suffice in summer with your usual toner and serum, while in winter, adding a hydrating cream would be beneficial.
Cons
While I didn't experience any tingling sensation due to my non-sensitive skin, my sister, who has super sensitive skin, felt a slight stinging. Although it didn't cause any blemishes, those with sensitive skin should be cautious due to the potential tingling sensation!
Tip
The price point might seem steep, but I found that a little goes a long way! You don't need to apply too much to see results, which helps justify the cost.
