<Assuming you're a cool-toned person with low saturation and high brightness> The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! I bought this thinking it was a medium saturation, medium brightness lip color, but it definitely looks heavy and overwhelming on my face. Even when I try to apply it just as an accent on the inner lips, since it's not a product with strong adherence, it ends up spreading all over my lips. It tends to transfer a bit, and the staying power isn't great. I consider the feeling on the lips when applied to be really important, and this product left me a bit disappointed in that aspect. For those with cool undertones and fair skin, finding the right lip color can be tricky. This product might work better for those with warmer complexions or as a subtle accent color. If you're looking for a long-lasting, non-transferable lip product, you might want to explore other options. The beautiful packaging is definitely a plus, but the formula might not suit everyone's preferences, especially if you prioritize a comfortable feel and long wear time. - dg********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 18, 2025
The Hwahae Testers' review of the 33-shade Yeocul Mute lipstick line... All aspects - color, formula, scent, and packaging - are perfect. I used to dislike shimmery lips, but this has grown on me. Am I becoming a Yeocul Mute fan?? You must try it out... Just applying this makes my face look whiter. The moisturizing lipstick lacks longevity... When applied on dry lips, it emphasizes flaky skin. After drinking beverages, only the inner part is removed, making it unattractive. However, aside from the lack of longevity, everything else is good, so I intend to repurchase it. now the super famous Hwahae tip of peeling off the sticker underneath and pushing it with a cotton swab...haha but be sure to keep it in the refrigerator, don't do it otherwise or you'll end up with a hole like me :( - eh*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 28, 2025
The color is absolutely gorgeous! The subtle sheen and shimmer are so beautiful. The shade isn't too intense, making it perfect for everyday wear. It doesn't accentuate dead skin cells and keeps my lips hydrated. Since it's a moisturizing lip product, transfer seems unavoidable. - tp*****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2025
A pure yet vibrant shade that suits both no-makeup and full-makeup looks. I love how it applies so moisturizing, thanks to its lip oil-lipstick formula. It's not a lip tint, so the staying power is low. You'll need to reapply after eating or drinking. - ji*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 21, 2024
- The fragrance is subtle and pleasant - Tiny gold flecks embedded for a subtle shimmer - The staying power isn't particularly impressive - Everything else exceeds expectations - fu********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 30, 2024
My complexion is usually around 13-17 shade range. Personal color: 1. Summer cool pale tone 2. Summer cool mute tone. I'm a true summer cool tone... <Photo description> Left: YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 162 (Pulsing Rose Hip) Right: YSL Water Shine 209 Highly recommended for those who don't suit overly vibrant colors. As the name suggests, it's a pink-based muted shade. Surprisingly, it's not just a lip balm. After 2-3 applications, it builds up to a deeper color... Since bright colors don't suit me well, I might be perceiving it this way. The main drawback would be the longevity... It seems to disappear whenever I eat something.. Reapplying lipstick frequently can be a hassle... By the way, I noticed that the color comes off completely even with regular tissues, not just makeup wipes... Personally, since very deep shades don't suit me well, I apply the Water Shine a few times on the inner part of my lips, then layer it with a tinted lip balm (which adapts to your skin tone) to adjust the color as I apply... - wl*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 6, 2024
The color is truly beautiful - not too bright, not too muted, and not too dark or light. It seems like it would suit anyone regardless of their complexion! It's moisturizing, so it applies beautifully even on lips with dead skin cells, and it doesn't stain unevenly. You can reapply it and it still looks as pretty as the first application. Unfortunately, the staying power leaves something to be desired. Also, when it fades, it tends to wear off from the inside of the lips, which doesn't look attractive. I suppose this is unavoidable with a hydrating lipstick, but still... - sh*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 3, 2024
The cool pink shade with a hint of gold shimmer creates a pretty combination. It's cooler than Candy Glaze, making it ideal for cool-toned skin. Warm-toned individuals can use it as a base lip color. The texture feels slightly shimmery, and applying too much can lead to a 'yogurt effect' (uneven, patchy application). - su**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 4, 2024
The Yves Saint Laurent lipstick glides on smoothly and feels incredibly soft. The luxurious case makes you proud to take it out when you're on the go. As someone with dry lips, I love how moisturizing this product is. It's also easy to touch up. The color range is somewhat limited. The price is also quite steep. Ordering from overseas is becoming more challenging these days. Here's a tip I learned: After you've used up your lipstick, gently remove the sticker at the bottom. Then, using a toothpick or a pointed tool, push upwards. A surprising amount of product will emerge. I've managed to get two more applications this way. - ja*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 15, 2024
I suspect it has a light undertone. Since I have a habit of picking at my lips, leaving uneven marks, this covers them well. It has a subtle fruity scent with fine gold shimmer! And it's so moisturizing, I could cry! It's not a stark white-pink, but more of a muted MLBB pink. The case is adorable with the Saint Laurent logo in baby pink and engraving. As expected from Dior, the price point is a bit high, which is unfortunate. The staying power is limited due to its moisturizing formula, but that's unavoidable.
