First off, it's perfect for combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. Not a trace of oil comes through. It's absolutely fantastic!

Is it drying? The characteristic slightly parched feeling of mineral sunscreens does remain to some extent.

I tried this as a free gift and loved it so much I bought it! I'm currently on my 4th bottle and have one more stashed away. It's the best mineral sunscreen I've used. It's less thick and leaves less of a white cast compared to typical mineral sunscreens. It's not completely absent, but that's unavoidable with mineral sunscreen ingredients. After applying this, I realized mineral sunscreens could have such a nice texture. It also naturally brightens my complexion, which I love. I usually just wear this without any other makeup.

There's nothing particularly bad, but it does leave a slight white cast, which I'm not fond of, so that was a bit disappointing.

Not recommended for those with blemish-prone or combination dehydrated skin... It can clog pores and if your skin is dry, it might feel a bit patchy.
Also, rather than a sunscreen to use before makeup, it's more suitable for evening out the skin tone on your neck or for applying on your body.

Among the brightening moisturizers with SPF available, this one seems to have the best absorption and is the gentlest. As someone with super sensitive skin, I found it worked well on my neck and arms.

The lack of thickness is actually a downside. I use mineral sunscreens not just for sensitivity, but also for longevity and makeup stability. However, this one doesn't last long. The biggest issue? After using this, I got tiny blemishes all over my forehead - something I haven't experienced since becoming an adult! I have mildly sensitive skin that usually only gets itchy with chemical sunscreens, but this caused a major breakout. I tried it for two more days to be sure, but it got worse, so I switched back to my regular sunscreen. The problem cleared up immediately. While Skinfood promotes a natural image, their products always seem to wreak havoc on my skin. Those with super sensitive skin should probably steer clear.
