The toner has a slightly viscous texture, unlike watery ones, so it doesn't drip off the skin. Yet, it's not uncomfortable when exfoliating. I keep it in the fridge, and on hot days like these, I soak a cotton pad generously and use it after coming in from outside. It feels cool and seems to quickly soothe my skin when it's flushed from the heat. It absorbs well, and when I follow up with a patting technique after exfoliating, my skin feels firmer and more supple. Overall, I'm completely satisfied!
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked about it. However, because I use it for exfoliating and patting, it seems to run out quickly. It would be great if it came in a larger size!
TipIf you keep it in the fridge and apply it like a mask on skin that feels hot, it calms down quickly! Also, when you layer it multiple times, your skin seems to become more radiant and firm!

I appreciated that it didn't drip when dispensed onto my hand. While it feels slippery during application, it's a quick-absorbing type! During The Hwahae Testers trial period, I was experiencing some hormonal changes that caused a few blemishes, but I felt like the Lab:Cle Vegan Soothing Toner helped calm my skin quickly! After using this product for a few days, people around me commented that my skin looked glowy. I think it's because it gently removes dead skin cells.
ConsI'm not sure if it's the natural scent of the ingredients, but there's a slight tea tree or herbal aroma that might be hit or miss for those sensitive to fragrances.
TipDon't skimp on application just because it's summer and you're worried about stickiness. Instead, apply generously to skin with enlarged pores and moisture loss due to heat. Pat it in thoroughly for absorption! The Lab:Cle Soothing Toner isn't sticky at all.

Texture - It's not a completely runny water-like consistency, nor is it a sticky, viscous type. It's more of an in-between texture. Ingredients - Being a vegan product, the ingredients were very gentle. Throughout the usage period, I didn't experience any blemishes from switching to this toner. Hydration - Some water-based toners can surprisingly cause deep dryness, but this one maintained long-lasting moisture without any such issues. This toner is perfect for summer when I prefer lighter formulas over heavy, oily ones. It absorbs well while still providing ample hydration!
ConsIt's just a decent product, so there's nothing particularly disappointing about it.

As I slowly built up my skin's hydration while using it, there was no stinging at all, and my skin texture gradually improved! Since it says 'suitable for sensitive skin', I recommend trying it like I did by slowly increasing the frequency and areas of use, or applying it when your face is still slightly damp♡
Cons- Although it claimed to be suitable for sensitive skin... when I first applied it in the evening, my skin stung a lot! Then it turned red ㅠ I tried applying it again the next morning just in case, but it still stung, so I stopped using it! => So I'm planning to try using it again slowly, starting from the forehead!! Apart from this, there's nothing else I'm disappointed about^_^
Tip- I recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily or combination skin :)

I was worried it might drip too much when dispensing, but the slight thickness and narrow opening made it easy to control the amount. ✔️Scent: A subtle forest or cypress aroma lingers. It's a fitting scent for a vegan toner, and as a fan of woody fragrances, I was quite pleased! ✔️Application experience: I applied an appropriate amount to my face and patted it in. It's not super hydrating like some watery toners, but it absorbs quickly. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt I needed to layer it 2-3 times for adequate hydration. Then I just applied one of my usual serums or ampoules. In summer, I try to keep my skincare routine light. With this toner layered 2-3 times plus one serum or ampoule, my skin didn't feel dry, and my makeup didn't pill or separate. The product is gentle, and I felt it helped calm any skin heat after application. I experienced no blemishes at all. While I didn't notice dramatic skin improvements, its gentle and soothing nature makes it perfect for consistent use, especially during hot seasons when you want a lightweight feel!
Cons1. Though it's not an issue for me, those who dislike forest-like scents might find it polarizing. (I'm personally satisfied...) 2. For those wanting an ultra-simple routine with just a skin emulsion, this might feel slightly drying.
TipPersonally, I highly recommend layering this product generously! It seems to absorb quickly, and after application, it feels like it helps reduce any skin heat.

It doesn't drip all over the place, but instead releases one drop at a time, keeping the bottle and cap clean. The texture is perfect for layering. Some toners can get foamy or sticky after just a couple of applications, but with this one, I can layer it about five times and still feel a deep hydration without any heaviness. The scent is a fresh, botanical aroma that dissipates quickly upon application, so even those with sensitive noses shouldn't find it off-putting. Personally, I enjoyed the subtle fragrance so much that I was a bit disappointed when it faded so quickly.
ConsFor the first two days of use, I experienced a slight tingling sensation. Fortunately, it subsided after that.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros/ I have dry, thin skin lacking in oil and moisture balance. / Overall review & personal effects: It has a subtle, natural scent that I think most people would enjoy. Despite being a watery toner with a thin consistency that's hydrating and absorbs well, I appreciated that the container doesn't spill easily. I was curious about the duckweed extract as it was unfamiliar, but after using it for a few days, I found it very pleasant and easy to use. I'd recommend it for any time - morning, evening, pre-makeup routine, etc. - as it's gentle enough for frequent use. It's excellent for smoothing dead skin cells, making skin texture feel softer. As someone with super sensitive skin, I loved that it caused no irritation. With its soothing and cooling effects, I plan to use it consistently even in the height of summer. These days, I tend to gravitate towards vegan products, so I was especially pleased that this is vegan-friendly.
ConsPersonally, I didn't find any downsides, but it seems this product is only available for purchase online.
TipExfoliating toners are generally not recommended for sensitive skin, but this one works well as the first step in a basic skincare routine.

Unlike the gushing types, you can comfortably dispense it directly onto your hands without needing a cotton pad. Plus, its hydrating power is impressive; you don't need multiple layers for effective moisturization.
ConsIf I had to nitpick, it's not entirely fragrance-free. However, the scent is so subtle that I personally didn't find it off-putting. (There's a very faint herbal aroma?)
TipWhen I soaked a cotton pad with the toner and placed it on my cheeks, I felt an immediate soothing effect.
