It works incredibly well for my porous, flaky skin. Even though it's a drugstore product, it matches the effects of Olive Young. The dead skin care is fantastic, and there's no irritation at all. It doesn't feel sticky in the least and absorbs nicely into a soft finish. This is a must-have for me.

I like to use this as an exfoliating toner by saturating a reusable cotton pad with it! Since it contains tea tree oil, I sometimes mix it and spray it like a mist for added benefits.

Hwahae is a difficult toner to apply, so try using a Daiso dropper bottle and apply it directly to your face like an ampoule. I mix the pure essence and apply it this way.

My skin is sensitive and has recently been breaking out with acne due to overtime and overwork. The acne hasn't appeared since my middle school days, so I'm in the process of recovering.

For skin barrier protection, a ceramide toner is essential. But before that, I needed a light water-based toner to care for blemishes and improve skin texture, to apply before the ceramide toner. I wanted to mix a concentrated essence good for blemishes into the water toner.

When looking for an affordable water toner, I couldn't find anything better than Daiso's. After much deliberation, I purchased this toner from Daiso. There were several options, but this one best fit my requirements.

I don't use this toner alone, but as a pre-toner before my main toner. I was looking for an extremely watery and lightweight toner, without any sticky or heavy feel. Since I'll be applying another toner afterwards, I didn't need anything too substantial.

This toner is truly very light and watery, almost like just applying water. It contains a small amount of retinol to help with skin texture, as well as niacinamide. The packaging even mentions 'pore care and exfoliation', though I didn't buy it with those specific benefits in mind. I was simply looking for a simple, lightweight water toner.

The usage experience is refreshing and non-irritating, so I've been using it generously. To my pleasant surprise, the small amount of retinol seems to have smoothed out my skin texture. Rather than using it as a final step, I've found it works great as an emergency hydration barrier right after washing my face! It seems to prevent moisture loss for a while. I've decanted it into a mist bottle and keep it in the bathroom - it's perfect for that brief period between cleansing and reaching my vanity. No blemishes, and it works well. Use it to prevent moisture loss during that short trip to your dressing table!
