There are absolutely no cons. I've looked high and low and can't find any. This is my holy grail product now!

As someone now in my 30s who went through several bottles of MAC Fix+ in my 20s, I loved its performance but absolutely hated that distinct feeling of having a film over my face. After that, I pretty much stopped using setting sprays for a while.

I've been a fan of Espoir powders and use them regularly. This setting spray came as part of a set, so I just tossed it aside at first. But after trying it once, I loved it so much I immediately bought the full-size product!

While I haven't tried the famous Urban D*** product, as a former devotee of the once-popular MAC Fix+ (having gone through multiple bottles), here's my take:

It performs just as well as MAC Fix+, but without that suffocating feeling of having a layer on your face!

Usually by evening, my skin gets oily and my morning makeup looks like it's mostly disappeared, so touch-ups are a must. But on days I use this, it holds everything in place so well that even when my makeup does start to fade, it still looks pretty! Oh, and for reference, I hardly sweat on my face - it's like I don't have sweat glands there or something.

Anyway, with this performance at this price point, I have no reason not to use it. Unless something extraordinary comes along, I'll probably stick with this.

The review above was based on using it for touch-ups over a day or two and liking it. After using it for over a week, applying it in the morning, I've realized the setting effect doesn't seem to last all day. So I'm retracting my statement about it performing as well as MAC Fix+. I've taken away one star because of this, but I still love that it doesn't feel like a film on my skin.
However, I'm curious about other setting sprays now, so I probably won't repurchase this one.

Why? Because I changed how I use it!

Here's the method I've settled on:

1. On days I use powder, I don't spray the setting spray right away. Instead, I wait until the afternoon when my skin starts to get a bit oily, do a touch-up, and then use the setting spray. This keeps my complexion looking dewy and fresh until evening without any breakdown.

2. On days I skip powder, I finish by spraying the setting spray all over, like I'm coating my skin. This maintains a beautiful glow throughout the day.

I've found that for my skin, using both powder and setting spray together seems to negate the benefits of both.

Either use one or the other, or if you use powder, wait until your skin produces a bit of oil before applying the setting spray! Using it this way, I get great setting power while keeping my skin looking beautiful.

I didn't really find any drawbacks, but if I had to pick one, I'd say the amount you get is a bit small compared to the price.

When I first sprayed it on, it felt incredibly refreshing. I bought it because I love Espoir's signature pleasant scent, and this product didn't disappoint - it smells wonderful and seems to help my makeup last longer. There's definitely a noticeable difference between days when I use this and days when I don't.

Unlike Urban Decay's products that focus on perfect setting, this might suit dry skin types better than oily ones. As someone with dry skin, I found it pleasantly lightweight to use.

I bought this in advance for summer, and there's definitely a noticeable difference between using it and not. I apply it before my base makeup, spray it on my puff, and then once more after my base. This method keeps my makeup intact for about half a day without touch-ups, which I really like.

While the spray power is decent, I'm not sure how well it sets the makeup.

It's small, making it convenient to carry around. The spray power is also good.

Since my makeup tends to come off easily and I sweat a lot, I use fixers frequently. My personal tip is to spray once before applying cushion foundation, then again after finishing my makeup. This really makes it last a long time, even when I'm sweating. It stays put impressively well!

I bought this along with Espoir powder! I spray it on my puff when applying foundation and pat it on - it feels so refreshing and absorbs well, which I really like! However, since this is my first time using a fixer, I'm not entirely sure if I'm using it correctly... The price might seem a bit high, but I think it's reasonable for 100mL!
